1. seeing a couple of possible specs for 4.3 pvp for enha and ele

    enha

    http://wowtal.com/#k=DcsfIl3n1.bqj.shaman.eaJRPd

im seeing this as the only truly viable enhancement spec since windshear will have such a big cool down now, the 4.0.6 survival spec using shocks to improve healing will be obsolete without a doubt - with seasoned winds giving us an advantage over practically every caster - this will more than likely be the popular spec just because it yields the most damage and makes windshear useable even tho it's cool down was increased - the only issue being grounding totem on a 25 sec cd instead of 15 - but with the damage increases and so on, i feel more buffed than nerfed

    ele

    http://wowtal.com/#k=l1kVfnbP.bqj.shaman.dXBi2

im a bit iffy on this spec as i have less experience with elemental but this may be the spec to some extent, but earthquake still seems questionable to cost 60 percent mana and only a 10 percent chance of knockdown but without earthquake

    http://wowtal.com/#k=l1y3H4SO.bqj.shaman.dXBi2

this seems like the better spec, EQ being too mana intensive for pvp and the benefits just dont scream at me especially with a 2.5 sec cast time - we'll definitely be viable in 2s and 3's which is good

imo Blizzard tried to make EQ a pvp talent but they failed at it ... the dmg is still low even for an AOE spell and the stun has a low % , as u said
but i doubt that it will be viable in arenas.. in Rated BGs it will have it uses but in arena i have my doubts :/

    agree.

    loook at this:

    Spoiler: Show
Flametongue Weapon: Imbue the Shaman's weapon with fire, increasing magical total spell damage done by 5%. 747. Each hit causes 99.3 to 305.8 additional Fire damage, based on the speed of the weapon. Slower weapons cause more fire damage per swing. Lasts 30 minutes.

Lava Lash: You charge your off-hand weapon with lava, instantly dealing 260% 200% of that weapon's damage to an enemy target. Damage is increased by 40% if your off-hand weapon is enchanted with Flametongue.

Mental Quickness: Increases your spell power is now by an amount equal to 55% 50% of your attack power, and you no longer benefit from other sources of spell power. Also, your instant beneficial, damaging, and totem spells cost 75% less mana. by 75%.

Stormstrike: Instantly strike an enemy with both weapons, dealing 225% weapon damage and granting increasing any Nature damage you an additional 25% chance deal to critically strike that enemy with your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Lightning Shield, and Earth Shock spells target by 25% for 15 sec.

Stormstrike Off-Hand: Instantly strike an enemy with both weapons, dealing 225% weapon damage and granting increasing any Nature damage you an additional 25% chance deal to critically strike that enemy with your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Lightning Shield, and Earth Shock spells target by 25% for 15 sec.

Flametongue Embue: Can't really say too much at the moment because my brain is fried, but it looks like a nerf; as somehow I don't think a 5% increase to SP is going to equate to a 747 SP boost.

Mental Quickness: So we're getting a 5% increase in spell power in regards to our Attack Power, but we forfeight the ability to use SP weapons such as Heroic Eye of Purification. Not liking this too much..

Improved Lava Lash : Finally we get some AoE mechanic, so from the looks of it; our lava lash will spread our Flame Shock to targets in a 12 yard radius. Seems nice, as we can Flame Shock, Lava Lash, Nova spam. Seems like a nice change.

Unleashed Rage: 20% Increase to Attack Power and 10% Increase to Ranged Attack Power. Not unique to the class, but a good buff to melee regardless.

    ----
    patch 4.2 changes
Fire Nova damage has been increased by 15%.
Lightning Shield and Water Shield can no longer be dispelled.
Unleash Elements is now in the Nature school, and thus can no longer be used if a shaman's Nature school has been locked out.
Unleash Wind now deals 175% weapon damage, up from 125%.
Water Shield has had its internal cooldown reduced to 3.5 seconds, once again matching other shields. The amount of mana restored when Water Shield procs has been reduced by 50%.
    Talent Specializations

    Enhancement:
Stormstrike now deals 225% weapon damage, up from 125%.
    -----

    4.1 changes

[Improved Fire Nova] has been redesigned and replaced by a talent called [Seasoned Winds]. When an enemy spell cast is successfully prevented with [Wind Shear], the shaman gains magical resistance (in an amount equal to what a protection totem/aura would grant, stacking with such buffs) to the spell school(s) of the interrupted spell (except for Holy spells), lasting 10 seconds.

[Fire Nova] has been redesigned and decoupled from shaman Fire totems. Instead, it now pulses the Fire Nova effect from each target that is afflicted by the shaman's own [Flame Shock] debuff. It now damages all enemies except the target hit by Flame Shock. The ability's cooldown has been reduced to 4 seconds, down from 10.
[Grounding Totem] cooldown has been increased to 25 seconds, up from 15.
[Magma Totem] now lasts for 60 seconds, up from 21.
[Stoneclaw Totem]'s area-of-effect threat pulse no longer affects critters.

    Glyphs
[Glyph of Grounding Totem]: : The increased cooldown of Grounding Totem applied by this glyph has been reduced to 35 seconds, down from 45 seconds.

pretty nice in overall, we will rape now xD

  4. Everyone will start playing Elemental shaman's and rouges. And aslo 4.3.4 elementals will be bugged like normaly :P Half macros when you use gets wow error. And aslo atm is bugged lighting shield, should be easir get stack's, and on elemental spec you can't dispel anything with cleanse. Also biggest problem is when you cast lava burst then you use Unleash elements while is lava flying, no 20% bigger damage (aslo flame shock,no crit) :P Same with Wind Shear on spell refflect (while is lava or other spell flying).
I hope shaman's will work final good. And yeah 4.3.4 PvP set triggers your Lighting shield to stack 7 so :D + Chain lighting spam, and that glyph for Lighting bolt + make goblin and you will kite like hell :D

  5. overall this makes a lot of comps very much more viable, i see a few id like to try out consisting of

    boomkin/enh
    feral/enh
    resto sham/enh
    sub rogue/enh
    ret/enh
    mage/enh

beastcleave comes back for another appearance but that depends on the if they fix pet damage.

some of these are already viable but i can totally see my favorite comp becoming more viable due to higher damage output - i.e. shadow priest/enh. at this point tho, there a alot of viable 2s comps that will work in 4.3.4 giving enh shamans a bit more of a choice because of more utility and more damage overall, and we'll be even better in 3's so yeah...
