This is a small collection of poems I've written. Figured I would share them since I didn't see many poems. I'm not the best.


First Poem.

These lonely nights
Are all that's here
I rose to great heights
For it to just turn to fear

I lay in bed
as if to rot
So many thoughts inside my head
I am so distraught

Then the tears come
Through this lonesome rift
I feel so numb
Into sleep I drift

Second Poem.

I crawl into my empty bed
Hugging the silence in this void
Nothing but emptiness filling my head
My thoughts slowly becoming dead

This place seems like my new home
Always welcoming me with open arms
Numbness swirling like the oceans foam
My conscious eventually begins to roam

Now I'm nothing but an empty shell
But that's okay; I'm used to this life
I'm not even tempted to scream and yell
Because this is obviously the perfect Hell

I thought of pain
I thought of life
I thought of strain

I thought of chances
I thought of the sun
I thought of the night
I thought of none

I thought it over
I thought it through
I thought of love
I thought of you
