4 months ago, our thriving guild disbanded due to real-life commitments of our officers. Once we made our return to Molten, it was unnatural to see our previous family spread out all over the realm, and so we thought it was only right that we reform and rebuild our community again from scratch, for a haven people could call home.
(We are by no means attempting to leech our old members back from their current guilds; I have extensively reiterated to each and every one of the ex-members I have spoken to that the choice of returning is completely their own, and I will by no means hold anything against them for wanting to stay in their current guild)
Who are we?
<Severance> is a PvE raiding community that incorporates high quality raids with a sense of belonging, inside a multifunctional guild. We try to maintain a place where people help people out of good will, and not just for dkp; a place where making friends is more important than getting gear and where raiding isn't the only time people come online to socialise.
Our Promise
We believe that we provide some of the best opportunities and benefits to our members, including the following;
- Experienced, fair and fun officers who are easy to talk to, who are understanding and most importantly see you for your potential and not just your gearscore
- We have a light but intensive raiding schedule, as we intend to be top-end in the sense of progression, but under the condition that raids are not a burden
- A plentiful guild bank, the contents of which are completely and utterly free to all members of the guild. There will be free flasks and scrolls provided for each and every 25 man raid
- A social rank for people who just want to join in light raids, PvP and general socialising
- A family for your time in Azeroth who are able to meet all your needs (..ok, not all, but that's just gross!)
- An all round experience of all aspects of the game, including PvP, achievement farms, chatting on Raid Call, music, pre-WOTLK raids and our very own guild events every two weeks!
- Top-end progression for downing bosses, being the youngest guild to kill both Lich King 10/25 Heroic, but also Ruby Sanctum 25 Heroic
- A 'mummy' system for new trials to ensure they have support, and someone to turn to for advice and help
Our Raiding Schedule
- Monday - RS 25 /TotGC 25 at 3pmST
- Tuesday - RS 25 heroic at 3pmST
- Wednesday - ICC 25 heroic at 2pmST
- Thursday - ICC 25 normal at 3pmST
- Friday - ICC 25 heroic at 2pmST
- Saturday - ICC 25 normal
- Sunday - Chillax raids/Guild events
Other guild raids may be planned for and will be posted on the GMOTD. This is just a guideline and therefore the actual raids may vary due to attendance or other factors.
10 mans are hosted before raid time at 1pmST or after raids, at around 6pmST.
Our raids are all streamed by our Fire Mage Faelarin at twitch.tv/zarisus.
Who we are looking for
We are not looking for those will highest gearscore, biggest achievements or most impressive mounts. The three things that will be most important to us are;
- The willingness to contribute to the community by whatever means you can, and however much you can, to make us great
- The potential to learn and improve, and accept ideas and tactics that may be new to you without aggravation, no matter who is providing it
- To be driven by the fear of failure and the letting down of others, to achieve the best
Currently, as we are only just reforming, we are looking for all classes, specs and roles, and so everyone who complies with the three requirements above are welcome to apply. However, we are still putting emphasis on recruiting those who desire competitive PvE raid progression.
