    Working Instances - Updated and Comprehensive List

    So, after a few frustrating days and noticing that the previous list has become outdated and flooded with comments, I've decided to make a new list of what is accessible and what isn't. I would like some blue posts on the ETA of these instances. There also needs to be some clarification as to why they''re closed, the current consensus on global is that "Molten just wants us to pay them money for items from there" Clearly that isn't doing the community any favors and the Molten team needs to get on that asap before it turns into a problem.
    As I only have characters on Sargeras, I would welcome any help in constructing this list.

    The Violet hold works.
    Ahn'kahet works (according to the changelog).
    Stockades work.
    Halls of lightning should be open.
    Blackfathom deeps, ragefire chasm,wailing caverns and gnomeregan do work.
    Ruby sanctum works.
    Also, you put no next to the dungeons that don't work, but for raids you just leave it be...might wanna keep some consistency there.

    Is everyone just so dumb or....?
    The dungeons are NOT scripted yet!

    Scripts are not only boss fights with spells and stuff, but also the NPC's themselves should be scripted so they will cast auto-attack and similar things, they need movement, not all fall under terrein when you enter the instance.
    Also their looting tables must be scripted.

    They are closed because they are not ready to be opened yet.
    And ofcourse there will be people saying to open it Tank & Spank, but that's not molten.
    Molten (atleast tries to) stand for quality in-game.

    I don't have everything filled out yet, just from what I've been to, if it has a ??? or nothing it means I haven't tried or global didn't know. Thanks for the feedback, updating the list now.

    Yeah I'm pretty sure some of it needs to be scripted, not too sure about some of the other instances though, like, a large portion of it is already tank and spank, (For instance Hellfire Ramparts, Slave Pens ect) However that also makes sense for most of the WotLK dungeons, the End Time dungeons and some of the newer vanilla dungeons.

    One thing i have noticed, is that the RDF will state you are locked to an instance, so i was using that as sort of a guideline, if anyone else finds any correlations/ info about the RDF tool ill put it in the OP

    Halls of lighting and Ahn`Kahet: The Old Kingdom is opened and working, at least on Neltharion. Also SFK Heroic(Cata version) is working on Nelth. Deadmines and SFK classic also should be opened(haven't checked)

    They could just port the script from wotlk to cata. Because only few dung changed in cata, so it works the same way in cata.

    I think the main reason for them to not open the dung/raids is the instability on the servers.

    You can't just "port" scripts. Both expansions run on different cores.

    Whats the easiest way to explain this.

    Its kind of like a car. The core is the engine, and scripting for everything else is like all the auxiliaries, so the brakes suspension lights ect. If you swap an engine from a Nissan to a Volkswagen, things aren't going to fit or line up. That's kind of like scripting for a core, it may be the same functionally, the bosses say things or move places, but mechanically it's all different.

    yes and Wotlk instance HoL and Ahn kanet works on frostwolf.

    Yea, guess thats the reason why Both Gnomeregan Scripts have the same issues. on both realms..

    text is missing on both realms
    some minor stuff is missing on both realms

    its the exact SAME script.. and you say they cant port them..

    maybe its adapted for cata, but still they could do that on other scripts too then.

    fact is, both scripts on wotlk and on cata have the exact SAME issues in terms of "scripted"..
    do the boss where the troggs came out of the caves from the right and left side, on both realms.. you will see what i mean
    I'm aware they probably use the same script, what I was trying to say is they can't literally just copy and paste the script over to the new core, it needs adjustments first for it to work, sorry if I wasn't clear.

    Frostwolf has the same updates like Sarg/Nelth, so idk why is not added to the list...
    All cata realms without Warsong are updated together and has the same pve content.

    Are there any plans to fix Dungeons...1 or two, but from the OP all TBC and WotLK dungeons don't work? Kinds takes a huge chunk out of the experience.

  14. I hate to say this but we all know the reason they won't put old instances in for xmog gear is so people will keep donating and voting to get the gear. This way molten has less work to do and gets more money and more votes. This post might get banned for revealing their darkest secret but some of us know the truth. Gg guys
