Get 4 t10 pieces. Prot Warrior Bonus for 4t pieces is just awesome. Absorbs 20% of dmg of health for something like 8 sec. Warrior 2-3 target threat is fine, but pala tanks will also overagro you. To get nice agro just put 3 points in deep wounds tree

Actually no, the 4pt10 is not that great. The amount it absorbs is usually eaten by the next melee hit / spell. You're better off stacking mitigation & stam.

  4. I'd say 4t10+Pillars of Might. Try to go as much armor as u can, then hp, then mitigation.
4T10 bonus is actually great because it stops 1 full hit, so it's like 1 more mitigated attack, which can save ur *** multiple times. Its 2nd best 4t10 bonus right after dk's.

For gems, go +30 stam unless there are 2 slots with +9 stam bonus, of which 1 is blue or 3 slots of which 2 are blue (or 1 is prismatic like waist with Eternal Belt Buckle). Just check if you won't loose more than 6 stam per gem when compared to full stam gemming.

    Caps, are ofc:
9% hit (glyph of taunt is good to never miss the taunt) SOURCE
5.5% expertise (it's not retail, check bugtracker) SOURCE
49,905 armor (which is unobtainable for warrs, but u want to go as close as possible) SOURCE
102.4% mitigation (block+dodge+parry) cap (and btw, block dmg is now corrected) SOURCE
415 frost cap for sindragosa tanking SOURCE
    STAMINA FTW!!!

    items:
so 4t10+Pillars of Might as I said before.
    Royal Crimson Cloak
    Ashen Band of Endless Courage
Juggernaut Band or Signified Ring of Binding
    Petrified Twilight Scale
Sindragosa's Flawless Fang or Unidentifiable Organ
    Grinning Skull Greatboots
    Verdigris Chain Belt
    Gargoyle Spit Bracers
    Bile-Encrusted Medallion

    ench:
    weapon - blade ward (ench)
shield - titanium plating (bs, alliance vanguard rep)
head - arcanum of the stalwart protector (argent crusade rep)
shoulders - Greater Inscription of the Pinnacle (sons of hodir rep)
    back - mighty armor (ench)
    chest - powerful stats (ench)
    wrist - major stamina (ench)
    hands - armsman (ench)
legs - frosthide leg armor (lw)
    feet - tuskarr's vitality (ench)

    glyphs:
    minor: command+battle/bloodrage/charge/thunder clap
major: blocking+revenge/taunt/vigilance/heroic strike/shield wall (only if also talented)
(depends on ur equipment, guild etc)

    talents:
if not tanking lk on 25hc: 15-5-51 (casual ones) or you can change cruelty for puncture/improved thunder clap
if tanking: 15-3-53 (no cruelty, but go for improved discipline+shield wall )

  5. sorry but u don't have aggro problems?i'm 6,2 and is very hrd to keep aggro -.-

one last thing, damages on war aren't a "little bit high?"

    ty for help me

  6. 415 frost cap for sindragosa tanking SOURCE
    There is no resistance cap.
The certain number of resistance u have has a chance to proc about 3 or 4 partial resists (not sure about the exact amouth), which are fixed numbers.
For example at 320 resistance (any school) u will have 3 possible parital resists 30%, 40% and 50% and most of the time u will ressist 40% of the spell damaged sometimes it will be 30% and rarely 50%
And as more resistance u get those partial resists changes to bigger values all the way up to 75% which is the highest possible resist cap!
So there is no resistance cap there is just an cap in how much u can possibly resist of an magic attack which is 75%.

And I know what I am saying cause I was rolling with 320 resistance on Lich King 25HC on my warrior as the OT, and so I can tell that every vile spirit that hit me, its explosion was resisted by a minimum of 30% ATLEAST, there were 40% and 50% resist too cause of that chance I wrote about earlyer. and ofc when absorbing with the Sindragosa resistance trinket those values increased and at that values of resistance the min resist was 50% which explains it how resistances work on WotLK.

  7. In my opinion BiS list is:
    Broken Ram Skull Helm http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50640
    Bile-Encrusted Medallion http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50682
    T10 Shoulder
    Royal Crimson Cloak http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50718
    T10 chest
    Gargoyle Spit Bracers http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=51901
    T10 Hands
Belt of the Broken Bones http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50691
    T10 Legs
    Treads of Impending Ressurection http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=54579
    Devium's Eternally Cold Ring http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50622
    AV rep ring
    Petrified Twilight Scale http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=54591
    Sindragosa's Flawless Fang http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50364
    Dreamhunter's Carbine http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=51834
For more aggressive style, Havoc's Call, Blade of Lordaeron Kings http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50737, better for keeping aggro.
If you are mainly OTing then Mithrios, Bronzebeard's Legacy http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50738
And of course Icecrown Glacial Wall http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50729 for the shield.

The full armor set is definitely not worth it, because after about 35-36k armor unbuffed its not worth it to go for more armor, since the gain is really low due to diminishing returns. With this set you have optimal amount of armor, get the t10 4p bonus which is really nice when you can expect damage coming in and you get plenty of hit and expertise which is enough to be able to keep aggro.

But if you still wish to go for 2p T10 then get Boneguard Commander's Pauldrons http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50660 & Legguards of Lost Hope http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=50612 instead of T10 pieces

    For gems I would reccommend:
    Blue: 30 stamina
    Red: 15 stamina + 10 dodge
    Yellow: 15 stamina + 10 defense
Meta: Austere Earthsiege Diamond 32 stamina + 2% Armor

I have tried different styles of gemming and I feel like this setup works the best.

If you intend to tank Sindragosa on HC mode, be sure to get frost resistance belt, chest & feet from BS. Otherwise you can die really quickly in last phase.

This is really good except people fail to realise, there is NO BiS list for tanks. You always change gear depending on the fight, this is what sepperates the good tanks from the mediocre ones.

If you want to know more about prot war I would recomend you to check my guide. Especially stats and gear sections since there is almost everything you can know about gearing your prot war.
