  3. It's of great pride and honor to live the day we celebrate the anniversary of our guild and family, Covenant. It's a great feat, having spent the past year through the diverse moments. We had the moments of joy. We had the moments of struggle. All of which accompanied by the hospitality and maturity of many, held in one. We are one, we are everyone; a slogan that was here to stay and manifest throughout this amazing year.

Our appreciation, our thank you's, can only go to the members of the guild. The building blocks, the backbone and the oasis for Covenant. This is your achievement, your feat and your own solid will and resolution. It's been a great journey, a one that started but never ends.

To all the members of this family, Covenant hasn't given you a mere community and end-game play, but friends whom you'd favor, cherish and wish that someday you'd meet face-to-face.

As representatives of Covenant's officer council, we wish you a happy new year. A year that will dawn a continuing flourish of a community and a family; a covenant.

With the spirit of celebrations and entertainment, we've embarked on some great events for our members in our anniversary.

Without an official summoning, we've gathered up in the place where we forged the guild, Ironforge.

Sukino and Lilaids were humble enough to welcome us in their own home in Ironforge. (The biscuits were awesome, Suki). Afterwards, we had some nice storytelling of Covenant's history, from its first day till our current time. The members had their knowledge tested afterwards with a nice quiz and epic prizes.

(Dis' nab iz slow.) We had a blast in our lvl 1 dwarf race. The countdown started as the Bennyhill's music got streamed over our Teamspeak. Many death, many trolls and great patience. Congratulations to Jelibon, Nanoqt and Anyone for winning the event and reaching the finish line! Perseverance all the way!

We couldn't end our anniversary events without some PvP seasoning and spices. The epic pillar struggles emerged Thacin and Yelary as the combatants for the next 1v1 duel. With Yelary hammering Thacin, it was his call to win. Congratulations Yelary, a.k.a Nanoqt!

Afterwards, the ruthless battle, in which only one exquisite player emerges victorious, was held. Stacked up at one spot, the heroes were commanded to unleash their rage after the countdown to spread ended! Congrats to Infinitedk, a.k.a Amazze for winning the last man standing match!

We'll end our anniversary post, with a poem made by one of our past veteran players who never settled but to serve Covenant's cause.

Throughout the year that has pass
We brought Glory to your hearts.
We fought our battles and our wars,
We mourned our losses and the costs,
We praised the heroes and the just,
We stood together, all as one.
We saw the Dragons rise in flight,
A sign of Kingdom thatÔÇÖs to come,
We lit the Light in a KingÔÇÖs heart,
A sign of Hope, to free the land.
We took the arms, we stood our grounds,
True to our goals, as Covenant we rose.
We took the oath, to remain Just,
    Together, to the very last.
And thus, with every year to pass,
WeÔÇÖll join the triumph in the skies.
With every year that comes and goes
The Christmas Carol brings us close.
And as the herald angels sing,
    ÔÇ£Glory to the newborn King!ÔÇØ
WeÔÇÖll take a moment in our thought
To light a candle for our Hopes.

  4. Allow me for this post to add my personal connotations as Covenant was a project, evolved into a mature community; a family that's well-bonded, a family that has given us more than we've ever given.

As a reminiscence of our glorious timeline, we'd like to include snippets of the evolution of our past major events.

The recruitment post was first jointly made. Our goal was simple, to become an end-game guild on Deathwing while having extreme fun along the way. The journey was full of surprises. It was an unprecedented adventure that was given and has given enough to be called fortunate. Remember,

We're this bunch of people that aims to achieve nothing but entertainment in World of Warcraft. When fun is nowhere to be found, the aim of the guild falls and thus so does the guild as a whole.
Entertainment, enthusiasm and motivation that perpetuated the morals and values of friendship, honesty, maturity and integrity.

Time passed till we were able to finally obtain LoD and proceed to an endless farm. Remember,

    So the coffin settled
    Underneath
    Where men live and die
    beneath
    Only the great
    Surmount
    Only the best
    Surpass
    All the obstacles
    Ahead
    All the people
    Amid
    A vociferation set
    Keenly
    We shall rise,
    Glorious

Glorious, comrades. Congratulation Covenant, congratulations! We're proud of every single member who persevered through the daunting tries against the LK. This was nothing but the fruit of pure devotion and pure dedication for this amazing family. Job well done!
The fruit of pure devotion and pure dedication. Two traits, that we know fully will never be abolished. They are in your hearts, Covenant members. The guild name has risen through your presence and magnificent deeds. More importantly, your pure nature in interaction and the friendly behavior that has never left even the shortest and smallest public events.

Time passed till our first RS 25 HC was accomplished. Remember,

As representatives of the officer council, we can only say this. To all the guilds present on Molten-WoW WotLK, to all the players who deemed hatred in their hearts towards our community, to all the supporters of our cause and the humble players who definitely showed their white hand and to you, my brothers in arms and comrades, will be the following message.

Guilds don't die due to inactivity, they die due to the disinterest of the members of the guild into perpetuating the cause. Here, in Covenant, we fight, we struggle, we forgive, we motivate, we support, we persevere, we kill and we achieve. No matter the odds are, a family unites against all the malicious external actions. As in Covenant, the family unites, succeeds and surmounts all the shallow ambitions and thoughts of the lesser ones in this rotten realm. To you, Covenant, the immortality you forged back in the 20th of December. To you, Covenant, our deep respect and appreciation.
They die due to the disinterest of the members of the guild into perpetuating the cause. You might ask what cause. The answer is simple; entertainment with people whom you cherish. As great and deserving Covenant tag owners and holders, you've persevered and daunted the hatred seen by the amateur, immature and juvenile players around. You've proven, Covenant is just not any Deathwing end-game guild.

Time passed till we've reached the penultimate event, our one year anniversary. Remember,

To all the members of this family, Covenant hasn't given you a mere community and end-game play, but friends whom you'd favor, cherish and wish that someday you'd meet face-to-face.
You'd might ask, if that was the penultimate event, then what is the most essential one?

It's the one you're doing right now, Covenant members. It's when you're inviting the new created characters. It's when you talk on your guild chat, anew. It's when you hold your past friendships. It's when your retrieve your past ranks. It's when you go rep farm with bare mains. It's when you do the things you love most, together, as one hand. It is...when you reforge the guild, with the same roster and with more excitement. That is what we call, pure devotion. And that can't but get our pure respect and appreciation.

This post was meant to be a thank you letter. A token of gratitude of what you've been, are and will always be; the friends that we cherish the most.

We started with the ode to Deathwing, back when we first started the guiild. We'll begin again, but now with an ode to Covenant. An ode to you.

    Rise up
    Covenant
    Shatter
    The barriers
    Stop
    The time
    Claim
    The throne
    Hold
    The family
    Persevere
    The strides
    Celebrate
    The moment
    Flourish
    A covenant

  5. Recruitment

As our recruitment is nearing its closed status, we are currently accepting only exceptional players and specific classes.

We are currently in need of:

    Frost Death Knight
    Balance Druid
    Protection Paladin

Along with that, we look for people that have capable and geared Protection Paladin and Blood Death Knight alternative characters for our alt runs.

Remember that the application form is there to impress us and for you to show us what kind of a person you are. Be detailed and creative; and maybe we'll be wearing the same guild tag soon after. Good luck!

Your recruitment is almost closed yet I see no posts about any hc kills on this thread at all , strange . Do you guys allow multi-guilding now since everyone needs geared toons in their guilds , or is it still a strict No ?

I don't see how recruitment being closed would affect anyone's Heroic kills. We have our ways of doing things, I assume you have yours.
Just because we don't announce every Heroic kill here, that doesn't mean that the counter on our website of downed kills doesn't increase. ;)

We've never allowed multi-guilding and we still don't. Along with that, we also prohibit PuGing, if that's what you're asking.
