So the coffin settled
Underneath
Where men live and die
beneath
Only the great
Surmount
Only the best
Surpass
All the obstacles
Ahead
All the people
Amid
A vociferation set
Keenly
We shall rise,
Glorious
Basically, we are a group of diverse friends, very different from classes and specs to nationalities and real life professions. We're this bunch of people that aims to achieve nothing but entertainment in World of Warcraft. When fun is nowhere to be found, the aim of the guild falls and thus so does the guild as a whole. However, do not make the mistake, as too many have done before you, of confusing having fun with not playing the game properly. We're a bunch, but not just any bunch. This guild was founded by people of ultimate class and raid knowledge as of the current patch of WotLK. It was formed by people who consider maintaining and abiding proper morals for the sake of the guild, their priority. Indeed, it was formed by people to inspire others to become a part of a very unique community. So who are we again? Most definitely, we are not some supercilious retail players who have come to Deathwing trying to arrogantly pretend that we are in any way or form better than other players here. We are a few expert players and great persons who decided to create a community under a common guild name. A covenant, that can thrive and reach the highest standards, first of friendly communities, and then of end-game raiding. Therefore, the standards which we value most transcend beyond loot, achievements, concern with differences, and discrimination.
Our motto is, we are one, we are everyone.
All in all, no matter how you swirl it around, World of Warcraft remains a game. Unlike retail, Warmane won't be upgrading its WotLK realms any time soon. This has its bane. Although not having upgrades means that you'll be able to preserve the value of your gear, it'll still mean that you'll be stuck in fighting the same end-game bosses every time. Endless LK farms, endless Halion farms, you'll basically nullify the encounters. And then what? You've reached BiS gear, you got all the gear you wanted; you lost your motivation and entertainment you received during your gameplay. You come to question yourself, whether you should keep on playing the game or not. It's quite obvious, when you aren't as lucky as others to befriend some people during the previous time you devoted, you'll most likely end up like all the lootwhores on this realm, friendless and depressed, trying to gear up 2 and 3 copies of the same class to fill their time. That's why Covenant is not interested in those kinds of players, loot whores and their ilk. Covenant is not interested in all the achievement thirsty players out there that would hold no value for the guild after achieving their shallow ambitions. Covenant will never be interested in them, as long as they still stand as worthless human beings striving for gear and very instinctual desires. Yes, we do want honorable achievements. Yes, we do want to be the best raiding guild in the realm. Yes, we do want to grow and develop and branch like any other raiding guild. However, we will never go about doing so at the price of the fun we get from playing, at the price of the noble goals we've placed beforehand, at the price of our friends, at the price of ourselves.
As such, we've defined our goals. After spending enough time in end-game guilds, we've recognized the flaws. Although at first our intent wasn't to create a new guild but to fix our very own, we've failed to do so. With this being said and with the failure of our attempts, creating a new guild was our only hope to actually belong and pledge our allegiance to a community that would:
Have a respectful, mature and enjoyable environment
Have what we call an "Academy"
Beginners can be taught the game
Experts can practice and enhance their gameplay
Have a recruitment system that prioritizes a person's personality over his character's gear
Have a solid officer council that can decide on and implement its judgments while
Abiding by and respecting the guild rules
Maintaining objectivity in deciding and friendliness and respect in implementing
Being mature enough to understand the full consequences of any judgment cast, that is, seeing beyond their own nose
Aiming to work on changing and developing the guild, day by day, to better it as a whole
We nevertheless assert that Covenant still has being a PvE hardcore end-game raiding guild as one of its true ambitions. However, we'll rather take it easily as any new guild can reach such a phase by blindly recruiting dunces upon numbers. Our first priority is you, as a person, then comes your tactical and class knowledge which will be corroborated as you just step in to this humble family we call Covenant. To us, players are not just numbers that fill out weekly raids; they are first and foremost people, members of this community, with whom we will have the utmost honor and enjoyment of raiding.
We've assigned some prerequisites, which will be expounded by the following:
Player must have the following addons/apps installed.
Our raid time must suit the applicant. It is at 6:00 PM ST sharp.
EPGP is the system used for loot management. Player must be acquainted.
Patience, patience and more patience. We have an active roster and only the players who are well-prepared and ready will be invited to the raids.
Player must reflect the traits mentioned in our GUILD RULES. That is, mainly, to be both a respectful and a respectable person.
As of the 5th of June, 2018, Covenant is starting anew. At the moment, all bosses are being farmed. In its past time, it's great to note that the guild was able to kill LK on 10N difficulty on the day it was forged (20th of December, 2013), the first Bane on (5th of February, 2014), the first LoD on (13th of July, 2014) and the first RS 25 HC on (25th of August, 2014).
This section is now complete. All bosses are DONE.

With such a strong foundation, the guild is bound to only grow in the best of ways. There is no doubt about the proficiency of its founders, and there is no doubt in my mind that only the best of people will be accepted into our community.
Best of luck to all those seeking to be part of this beautiful community and soon-to-be raiding giant.
Joined about two days ago, and haven't regret it since.
A great mix of ambition and fun, two great spices towards something great ;).
I believe Covenant has a great future with the current leadership and members that form the foundation of this guild. The choice for the alliance raiders at the moment.
