1. The golden state warriors have been eliminated from championship contention

Defeated 4-3 in the 2016 NBA Finals by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

  2. To add more info, the Cavs became the first team in NBA history to successfully overcome a 3-1 deficit in the Finals defeating the defending champs that hold the regular season record for most wins (73-9) including a back-to-back 2x unanimous MVP (Stephen Curry) in their lineup. As well as they set the record for best teammate performance with two teammates posting each 40+ points in a single Finals game. It is the first championship in any Cleveland sports since 1964.

Notably, this is LeBron James his sixth consecutive NBA Finals as he collected his third Finals MVP (2nd most all time) and is the third player to post a triple-double (three particular stats in double figures) in a game 7 Finals game.

  3. Yea, it was a great game. I wanted both teams to win, but i'm glad for the state of Ohio.
