What is a fury warrior? Its a class with burst that hits like a truck and the best part is that its fun as hell. I started playing fury in 4.0.6 where everyone rolled fury warriors and would enjoy the massive hit numbers and rofl at their targets hp being cut chunk by chunk. Where are they now? they have either rolled arms or have changed classes or left after fury was nerfed hard and now arms warriors are racing ahead of those dps charts with their buggy 300k executes. After reading this guide you will roll fury and reck with me lets repopulate molten with fury warriors. Let the guide begin.
Talents Here are the talents you need. I will explain them below.
Ok this tree is mainly designed for maximum damage output as well as survival.
3/3 Bloodcraze as when your recking your target your will take significant increase in the damage you take which is where this talent and field dressing will reduce it. Both these talents are an incredible help to your healers as it puts pressure off them. 3/3 Blood craze is an optional talent it can be speced into any other talents which you fell you need.
3/3 Deep wounds instead of incite is simply because deepwounds does more damage over time then with 3/3 incite. It will most likely appear on your 4th or 5th damaging ability on your recount. This is not optional.
Rude interruption is not really useful in boss encounters as bosses in firelands and ds do not require spell interrupts so you wont benefit.
Piercing howl is only useful in aoe situations like sons of flames at rag but other than that its really for pvp. Die by the sword and furious attacks do not benefit you as much as blood craze and heroic fury is more of a pvp talent.
The rest of the talents are self explanatory and should not be messed with.
As for glyphs these are the ones you should be using to max your dps:
The mastery build involves bursting hard and making sure your abilities benefit a ton from enrage. Here is what a fury warriors mastery does: it increases your effectiveness of your enrage effects by "x" amount.
This is how the mastery build should be ideally
Going for the mastery builds can make you burst like a truck with dps going as high as 70k or more but the down side is that its not steady as after you burst you go down with your dps.
*Reminder that if you go full mastery and use 8% hit most of the time you will find your self rage starved so its not advisable*
Going for the hit build is ideal for players who have weapon procs (gurth) or trinket procs(BLF) Hit build should be used with end game gear prefarably.
aim for as much hit as possible so you dont rage starve as fury warriors genrate rage from melee attacks. You will often find melee attacks as your top dps ability which is a good sign and often 90/100 attacks which gives you plenty of rage for herioc strike spam. It is a steady dps build but when you burst your trinkets and your weapon will proc like mad especially with TW you will rape the charts.
*reminder this build is best for fury warriors who often starve of rage or for high end geared furys with gurth or BLF*
Ok fury warriors with any of the 3 builds should follow this priority list:
*TOP PRIORITY*
Blood thirst(BT)
Raging blow proc(RB)
Colossus smash(CS)
Slam Proc(SP)
Heroic strike as filler(HS)
*LEAST PRIORITY*
Now this is what it should look like
BT>X>BT>X>BT>X With heroic strike as filler since it does not share a global cooldown with the other abilities
X= RB SP and CS but must be followed in the priority list for example
BT> RB procs so use it>BT>CS>BT>RB is not up but slam proc is so use it>BT>Slam proc is up and so is CS but since cs is higher priority use it instead of slam.
HS should be used above 60 rage but when used with inner rage and t13 2p you should use hs above 30 rage.
Cooldowns should be used at start only if your going to stay on the boss for atleast a minute for example pop all your cooldowns at start of morchork but not at start of alyrazor as you wont get to nuke her for long
Recklessness- gives higher chance to crit *5 min cooldown*
Deathwish- Increases damage done by x amount *3 min cooldown*
inner rage- allows you to cast heroic strike more often *30 second cooldown*
Beserker Rage-good for genrating rage and getting procs of raging blow *30 second cooldown*
This how i start a fight:
Prepot>Press all my cooldowns on 2 seconds before pull> Heroic leap in> BT>X>BT>X>BT>X>inner rage>Heroic strike as filler.
dummys not where fury shines in raids at burst i gurantee you will laugh at the out dpsing.
You see fury genrates rage from being attacked so at dummy you wont get the results as you would expect also whats your current ilvl that may be the reason and are you following the rotation
well ur dummie screenshot says u hit 71k dps and ur gear = 391 397
where u fully buffed or self buffed ?
my current ilvl is 408 pve geared with gurth and 410 axe i only reach 27k dps when gurth doesnt proc when it procs i read way more wich is redicouls low :p
i was self buffed and i followed my rotation with heroic strike spam with inner rage resulting in tenticale porn go into a rdf and beserker rage then burst you will get tons of rage and hit more.
Can you record it and show or are u on neth?
Nice but tho I wouldn't go for any build that needs more than 8% hit.Thats enough hit for you to do not miss with special attacks and the ones that you will miss with white attacks isnt as important as stacking more mastery which will conduct you to more dps overall.
Btw if you wanna see nice crits , get BLF and you will see.My record is like 142k :D

Being fury your melee attacks are your #1 dps doer. Increasing the hit increases your dps more than stacking crit or mastery would.
BTW is expertise bugged why is is 14 in the guide when cap is 26?
You need only 20 exp so you do not parry/dodge.You can try lower but you will start to see some dodges and parries
hmm ok i will edit this in.
and smf is playable but not as good as fury but they have different builds and prio so do not play smf with this guide. its good with low gear i will give you the link here not detailed guide but it will probably help you:)
Nice and short guide for fury warriors :D I like you refered to my guide as well :) Hope more players try fury as well as having their arms spec as a second option :) Since sometimes the other spec is better in some fights of DS
