ARCTURIS CAMPING GUIDE

-Arcturis is a 18 hrs rare spawn Spirit Beast (Bear) that has a spawn chance rate of 8%. It is the most simple to camp this rare spawn unlike any other because all you need to do is kill a rare stag and come back in 18 hours exact, but it does take couple of days to a few weeks to get Arcturis.

-The red tiny circle with a yellow ring over it, there hides a rare Silvercoat Stag along with this common Silvercoat Stag. Of course, it wont show you the Silver Elite around it's frameplate but it is the hidden rare stag.

-In this picture you see that there are 2 stags here and one of em is the rare Silvercoat Stag, kill both of em (because one of em is the rare stag) and wait til their corpse vanishes then you start your 18 hours countdown timer. As soon as the timer is up, either the rare Silvercoat Stag will spawn or Arcturis. You will see the rare Silvercoat Stag spawn most of the time since Arcturis is a 8% spawn chance. So be on time when it spawns, I recommend you to camp where the rare stag spawns.

NOTE: If it isn't there, that means someone must of killed him and the timer has already started.

COMMON SPAWN POINTS:


-In this picture, Arcturis 1st most COMMON spawn point is a few meters away to the south where the rare Silvercoat Stag spawns. It will spawn near the side of the entrance of where you see alot of 'Grumbold One-Eye' mobs.

-In this picture, this is Arcturis' 2nd common spawn point. It spawns at the edge of the waterfall at the river of Amberpine Lodge.


RECOMMENDATIONS:

+Camp with your friends and tell them to camp each spawn point spot. (Atleast 2-3 friends is enough to camp Arcturis)

+Make a raid group and put a raid target icon on the common Silvercoat Stag so that way incase if you or someone keeps killing the Silvercoat Stag so you will know if the rare Silvercoat Stag spawned. (Common Silvercoat Stag will always respawn with your raid target icon that you put, which it'll never go away. The rare Silvercoat Stag will spawn without it so you know that's the rare Silvercoat Stag).

+Do not kill Arcturis or else, hunters will continue to camp it and MAY take revenge on you by killing any rare spirit beast you camp.

I confirm this still works on Neltharion, Cataclysm. After following this guide, I managed to tame Arcturis in aproximately 1 week at the 1st most common spawn point.
