So - i might just be a complete addon ******, but...

I downloaded ElvUI, and set it up how i like it.

I then download Skada and Recount + the previously linked skins.

Throw it all in my addons folder and start my game.

But under Skins, there is nothing, except the default blizzard stuff and a box that says Ace3 and its checked... What have i dont wrong?

Sometimes (pretty often) do my debuffs show up on enemy nameplates even when i havent targeted them yet nor used any spell. Any idea how to fix that?

Thanks a lot for backporting the addon. It's awesome and totally changed my style of playing. I have a 1 issue tho: When I cast something to a npc or player, his health is decreasing with an animation. It looks smoother but I want it to be decrease instantly so that I can see what point it's at right away. Is this possible to do?

Yes its possible. Go to ElvUi/modules/nameplates/elements and open the Healthbar file, then find this line "frame.anim.progress:SetDuration(.2)" and change ".2" to ".01"

Simply go to your ElvUI Config settings. Unitframes. Uncheck Smooth Bars

Yes, you will need to install recount/omen/skada. Those options are there to move the addons to the appropriate position in the UI.


The AddonSkins are there to skin the addons you have installed. As long as they are skinned within ElvUI, the addons will show appropriately to the ElvUI skins.

Hey, I downloaded the most recent update of ElvUI and ElvUI skins from the link on the thread but my Gearscore interferes with my ElvUI and it bugs my chat I can't see Guild chat etc , also I can't see anyone's Gear Score myself involved.
