WotLK Arena points reset with New Season

I was wondering whether your accumulated arena points are also going to be reset (to zero) when the new arena season is going to set in. Heard about this from a guy on global that the current season ends on the 17th of the present Month and therefore need some confirmation on this issue.

In the past arena point would NOT reset at the end of the season. I haven't seen anything saying either way if they will or not, but I'd expect that they will not be reset.

Season will end on May 17th.

On the last season end, only rating/mmr was reset, and points were not reset. One can suspect this to be the case again. You are welcome to ask a staff (or hopefully a staff can confirm) but otherwise this is the best information we have :)

Thank you for your quick replies. I did actually post a ticket specifically asking about this issue and a GM mailed me that arena points would not reset. Only the ratings would.

Yes, the reason for first arena season points reset was someones mistake ^^
After that they never got reset, only teams/ratings/mmr did.
