why wotlk > cata?

Why people like wotlk pvp more than cata pvp?
My biggest concern with wotlk pvp is that you need tons of pve gear.I don't want to do raids to get bis pvp gear(dont want to donate either)
Then the other problem is that people die way too fast compared to cata.It's no problem to get 100 hks in single bg.

People like what people like. There are enhoug who like Cata PvP.
I for one love MoP PvP (even tho idk why :D)

in my opinion cata has higher skill floor which means ******s will have a hard time competing in higher bracket but wotlk has arguably higher skill cap
lets put it this way
wotlk: more fun, less balance
cata: slightly more balance, less fun for some classes

Most likely because in cata the health pool jumped from like 25k-30k average to like 130khp+
I personally feel wotlk more fun and more balanced. Having said that, maybe I am bias since I spend so much more time playing wotlk compared to cata.
