Daily point usage?

I'm just curious if there is any certain piece of gear that is popular to spend points on as a fresh 85 character. Like a trinket or some sort of tier gear? I'm planning on being a resto Druid so any general ideas would be much appreciated as I have never played Cata before. Thanks!

If you're okay with an ilvl drop i recomend you get (heroic) maghias misguided quill which is an ilvl 289 (or something) which provides you with 1000 spirit, its a great trink for any starter healer to get

I wait till they put some rare mount in the promotion and spend my points on that. Don't think it's worth to buy low ilvl gear with points because it's pretty expensive and you can get that in game easily.
