What is Honor Farming?

I've been seeing a lot of people getting perma-banned for honor farming. Could a staff explain what this is? Like is it multiboxing horde and alliance and killing yourself, using a bot in BGs, or something else?

Honor Exploit: Allowing someone to kill you or let you kill his/her toon to get Honor points in locations where it can be done fast and deliberately is not allowed.
