I had characters on Lordaeron, on with a lot of achievements, will I get those back when Lordaeron realm returns?

Jesus it's been like 7 months since the server wipe and people are still asking about their characters....

I for one cant wait for that flat out broke server :)), everyone grinding for gold :)) and rushing to the endgame content, pure PvE realm is the dream ! I know most people will stick with theire donated BiS chars on deathwing and rangaros , but those few CHOZEN ones , will come to relive the awesome story, the last true wow patch, before the crapnado that is cata mop and wod :D ! Praised be thy Lich.

I agree mito, how splendid will it be to actually SEE people leveling in all the zones - and without donated/BiS vote point freebies - and atleast in early game, where everyone is as dead A** broke as yourself !! 'hey, can u spare 32silver?'
- one thing that Kaer had brought up in the last, scoffed at, Lordaeron thread ; he had asked what we felt about dungeon travel> the options were> A: no meeting stone, everyone must manually travel to said dungeon. B: dungeons possible through the meeting stone > or C: random dungeon finder enabled
...ofc we may or may not have any sway on the project or decisions at this point : But it would still be very interesting to note how the majority of 'hardcore' wotlk players would choose if they were asked???
I had previously voted A- but after weeks thinking on the topic, i really feel B would be the more practical choice. That would still create traffic in dungeon areas, bettering the odds of any PvP - at the sametime it would ensure many more chances to do dungeons throughout the course of daily play. Also maybe the devs themselves might give us an idea of THIER thoughts up to this date :)

Hmm dungeon wise, B seems the most wise decision, 2 or more people will always make the journey by foot, and most meeting stones are not RIGHT NEXT to the damn dungeon, so you can enjoy some sight seeing !

I dont get it how rdf is such a bad thing- why to waste your time to get to some instance? I don't want to spend 20mins to get there I wanna play it. Flying is bigger problem in wow for me.
And no meeting stones :/ Thats just hardcore. But Lordaeron will be 1st updated with new fixes so maybe thats the good reason for hardcore pve guilds to join.

Also no vote and donor is awesome.
It will be nice to see Ulduar fixed in the end <3

Disabling RDF would be a bad ideea.... mostly because of dungeons like Ragefire Chasm or Stormwind Stockades... Running to Orgrimmar at level 15 doesn't sound that nice.... Not doing them is not an option for those who want to complete all the dungeons while leveling for the achievs.

I vote for C. Why would they remove it? Yes, i understand, people got a bit lazy. So what? Removing it seems a bit too harsh. I'm afraid, if option A or B goes live, the whole leveling thing would be based only on quests, quests and more quests. It gets boring after a while, but with some rdfs, it's a whole another feeling. With option C, If someone wants to create a group, spam LFM in global chat and go to meeting stone, they could still do it. Others can do quests, and wait for the queue to pop up. The only difference is that others wont spend (i wont say ''lose'', cause this is a game after all) unnecessary time. They could do quests in a meantime. I always liked how i was leveling on the old Lordaeron. Every day clearing 1 zone, alongside with 2 or 3 rdfs (wasn't doing them for exp, but for fun, and gear), and i had a blast. I hope for the same on the new Lordaeron.

Hey there,

I am so excited about Lordaeron being released soon that I can't wait but not ask about the ETA on the servers' release.
And If you can't really tell when is the release going to be ,can you give us a little bit of info on the server,like how good is going to be in the sense of are all raids ,dungeons,battlegrounds gonna work and how good will the leveling expirience be?
