Why do this now, the threat has been removed.

You cannot be 100% sure, Let's say the datacenter blew up -- yeah threat has been removed and our characters are safe right? No.
So P=NP ? :((
Hi Warmane
Congrats on this new safety feature.
Is it safe to assume this won't have a negative effect on server side stability and or latency?
Thank you.
So wait, this is a backup of our account that we can store OURSELVES?
If so then this is amazing and exactly the one thing i was looking for. Having some control over your character "save" file that we can use after a disaster that we cannot control of is exactly what every server based game needs.
Just a question though. Does this store everything, including achievements, statistics, etc? Also, what about the guilds? Where is the guild information stored? Does Guild Master's account also saves guild information?
Thanks.
A couple of more questions, sorry for the double post i don't seem to find an edit button
Where is that WEBS file's location?
and
Can we do the backup process while playing with our characters (because while we play information is changing on the fly)? Or do we have to be logged off?
Wherever you save it to.
And
Yes, the backup happens in realtime no matter what your account state, characters or otherwise are doing.
Guild master backup stores guild information.
On a side note: The features that the website receives has nothing to do with the pace of ingame development or bug fixing, 2 entire different departments handling 2 entirely different things.
nvm. after posting, it was showing the download butten. ty
Nice work, making players responsible for account data if a disaster should struck but ok, can you make it so that we can make it auto save every week?
