1. Blackrock vision

Hi, this is the updated version of http://temp.arena-tournament.com/for...1e2a275417ec54, a topic representing what I personally wish for this realm with all the details included, topic I will keep updating actively.

    BLACKROCK
    __________________________________________________

Welcome to the Warmane information section of the Blackrock realm which offers WotLK instant level 80 high end PvP, along with a simple yet immersive server-made lore applying to the World map and PvE.

The character creation is done in 2 identical steps; the 1st creation step determines the character’s race once pressing “Accept” one time, which restarts the process so that the player can then go through the 2nd creation step, which determines the character’s appearance and name by pressing “Accept” once more to finally create the character.
Note: Mouseovering players in game has the word “Racial” written next to their race, for example a “Level 80 Human Mage” with a created dwarf appearance on this realm will read “Level 80 Human Racial Mage” when mouseovered; this is to allow players to look as they want while still letting them know who has which racial without negatively impacting immersion.

The first time you click “Enter World” with a selection screen character, you appear in the sky falling at a completely random point in a specific area of the realm called Southrock.
Upon death once reaching the ground, and for any further open world deaths by another player in this realm (Southrock, Blackrock or Northrock), you will respawn at a completely random point in Southrock (including Stormwind and water, excluding instances) with half health/mana.
Note: Apart from the characters’ very first world entrance falling death, the following deaths by falling damage, or by mobs, will have you respawn in the same zone you were in when dying.

The Twilight Grove portal in the middle of Duskwood teleports a player to the Stormwind's Mage Quarter portal and vice versa.
The Deeprun Tramp is functional, but not the Stormwind and Booty Bay ships, nor the Stranglethorn Vale zeppelin for Orgrimmar.
    The Stranglethorn Vale zeppelin for Tirisfal Glades is functional but disappears once about to reach Duskwood and drops all passengers (“Ghost Zeppelin”); you cannot go behind the black line;

You start already at level 80 and you have huge bags, mounts, all spells learned, and you begin with the starting gear already equipped, gemmed and enchanted, the starting gear is as follows; level 264 trinkets and offsets (the level of those doesn’t go higher on this realm), S8 T1 weapons, and S7 PvP/PvE mainsets/nonsets.
The costs of the S8 T2 weapons and S8 sets can be found toward the ending @GOLD section.

The most common talents and glyphs for your class are also already set, as well as your other and already purchased specialization based on the second most common one seen for your class, which both come with a respective equipment manager set saved (along with a third set saved for paladins, druids and shamans).
You can obviously freely change and personalize all of the above as you wish (*with our “click to apply enchantment” list feature, applying enchantments doesn’t have a casting time).
(*Note: 4sc out of combat allows you to logout instantly on this realm)

There are no professions, yet by default your bags contain those 14 specific custom usable items (undeletable): “Mining Hammer” (there are 50% less mines than normally), “Nitro Boost”, “Pyro Rocket”, “Bandage” (usable in arena), “Grenade”, “Thermal Charge”, "Germinated Grains" (food, usable underwater), "Water" (usable in arena and underwater), “Parachute” (automatically looted after the characters’ very first world entrance falling death), “Purple Flash”, “Underwater Potion”, “Swimming Potion”, “Health Potion”, and “Mana Potion”.
Note: If you don’t automatically start in it, feel free to type “/join global” in game to access the main channel used by players. We have 0 chat rules; we let players (and gamemasters) utilize their responsibility to use the /ignore command to deal with people they don’t want to hear.

    MOBS
    __________________________________________________

There are 50% less mobs than normally, and there are mobs inside cities, in camps, and the Deeprun Tram; mobs are all set to level 80.
In the Southrock and Northrock areas; animals have 5x the stats of a usual level 80 mob, 10x for humanoids, 15x for elites, and 20x for instance bosses and night spirit healers.
(at night, each cemetery's spirit healer becomes visible and hostile)
In the Blackrock area, animals have 10x the stats of a level 80 mob, 15x for humanoids, 20x for elites, 25x for instance bosses and night spirit healers.
Instance bosses and night spirit healers don’t drop any items, instead, they give a huge gold bounty instantly divided between every player within 50 yards upon death.
Mobs don't drop items either, they give gold to players landing the killing blows.

Landing the killing blow on any mob or boss or player provides the following all stackable unlimited buffs respectively, which gives “+0.25% Damage Done. -0.25% Damage Taken.” (these buffs are lost on death).
    - In Southrock: “South fed”, stacks up to 40 times (+10%)
    - In Blackrock: “Seared”, stacks up to 20 times (+5%)
    - In Northrock: “North fed”, stacks up to 20 times (+5%)
(these buffs are temporarily disabled when a player joins an arena match or the duel zone)
    __________________________________________________

    FACTIONS
    __________________________________________________

    - There are no factions, all players of any races see themselves as enemies but can still freely chat and use "/invite" to make a party or raid group, you can add anyone in your friends list or guild, and you can use the IG commands ".u voiceon" and ".u voiceoff" to toggle your teammates' microphones
    - Players in a group still see themselves as enemies and cannot see their party/raid members on the map, nor cast helpful spells on each other
    - We only allow groups so that players can queue for arenas together; the Team 3v3 and Team 2v2 brackets require that the players be of the same faction to queue (*changing race doesn't make you leave a team), yet every single other arena bracket is cross-faction

    - It is still possible to become truly allied to other players in the Blackrock realm map the way it is working between friendly players on blizzlike realms; *if you spent 6h online in the same 75 yards of each other you will acquire the "Brothers in Arms" buff allowing a standard union without restrictions, yet it then cancels for a player as soon as he goes out of this range (being offline, in the duel zone or in arena doesn't cancel this effect)
    - Dying doesn’t make the players lose the Brothers in Arms buff, only releasing spirit (resurrection spells can be used to preserve the buff)
    __________________________________________________

    GOLD
    __________________________________________________

Arena and honor points are disabled, the only currency is gold which is used to purchase and unlock all gear as well as aesthetics (transmogrifications/tabards/mounts).

If you still have of the said disabled currencies, including the old boxes, cases, badges, tokens or "inventory transmogrifications" this realm used to work with, you can exchange all of these for gold with the power stone Item Teleporter.
    You start with 0 gold, gold is soulbound and the cap is 15 000, you can read information about it with the undeletable letter “Gold Chart” in your bags;
    Spoiler: Show
    Duel win: +1g
    Arena Scrimmage win: +1g
    Mine or chest: +10g (50%), +20g (20%)
    Southrock/Northrock animal mob kill: +10g
    Southrock/Northrock humanoid mob kill: +25g
    Unranked 2v2 win: +30g
    Unranked 3v3 win: +40g
    Team 2v2 win: +50g
Player kill (open world): +50g, +Player named ear
    Southrock/Northrock elite mob kill: +50g
Burning Steppes animal mob kill: +50g
Burning Steppes humanoid mob kill: +100g
    Solo 3v3 win: +100g
Burning Steppes elite mob kill: +150g
    Team 3v3 win: +200g
    Spirit healer kill: +500g (AoE)
Instance boss kill: +1 000g (AoE)
    IN GAME COSTS
    S8 PvP/PvE mainset/nonset piece: 1 000g
    S8 T2 2h weapon: 2 500g
    S8 T2 1h weapon: 1 125g
10 000g should provide enough for one usual top gear complete set (including weapons) unlocked on a character, to get an idea; for a player that would only do Solo 3v3, 10 000g would require 100 wins.

    1 transmogrification piece: 5 000g (10 pieces: 50 000g)

    Below is 3, 7 days cooldown super stones, all purchasable with the power stone Item Teleporter at the cost of 15 000g for each super stone (exceptionally non-obtainable through donation);
    - Flightstone: "Allow you to fly for 4 seconds.”
    - Invisibility Stone: "Make you and your mount invisible."
    - Bloodstone: “Increase all damage done by 100% and lose 10% health per second until death.”

    DONATION OPTIONS
#1: €5 to unlock all gear for one character (can be upgraded to donation #2)
#2: €20 to unlock all gear for the account’s current and future characters
#3: €15 to unlock all database transmogrifications for one character (can be upgraded to donation #4)
#4: €60 to unlock all database transmogrifications for the account’s current and future characters
    __________________________________________________

    ARENAS
    __________________________________________________

    5 BRACKETS
    - Solo 3v3
    - Unranked Solo/Duo/Team 3v3
    - Team 3v3
    - Team 2v2
    - Unranked Solo/Team 2v2

There are no seasons (ratings and MMR are never reset), the arena games’ rating and MMR point loss/gains are 75% smaller than blizzlike; characters begin at 375 MMR and team rating starts at 0.
As blizzlike; team disbanding still deletes rating for Team 3v3 and Team 2v2, and disbanding is not an option for Solo 3v3 since there is no concept of team rating in that bracket.

Once a year, on a pre-emptively announced date, a "Qualification 3v3" option appears on the power stone Practice Teleporter for a duration of 2 weeks, followed by the annual Blackrock 3v3 tournament (along with “Tournament 3v3” appearing within the Observe options of that same power stone); titles:
    Qualified - No title
    Finalist - <2019 Finalist>
    Winner - <2019 Winner>
Note: These 2 titles are given to the winners and finalists along with an in game linkable item that mentions the respective character as its name (for example “2019 Finalist Hreen”); this serves as purpose of allowing these players to prove their achievement without necessarily requiring to be “wearing” the title they won.

    (leaderboards: http://armory.warmane.com/ladder/SoloQ/Blackrock).
3v3 arenas only run with MCH (melee/caster/healer) compositions, and double healer is disabled from 2v2. This applies for all arenas, queued either as a solo player or team, ranked or unranked; the only exceptions are arena scrimmages which have no composition restrictions.
(in unranked arenas, it is no longer possible to leave a match before the gates open)

    Annual tournaments are temporarily on hold until the realm truly reaches 1500 players at peak hours consistently, until then rather than having a MCH-only format, the 3v3 composition restrictions are loosened and work as follow;

-12.5% damage to double melee and double caster comps
Hard healing reduction stacking comps disabled (combinations of arms warrior/hunter/rogue)
Class stacking comps disabled, with the exception of mancleave (AWar/PWar/healer)
    Double healer comps disabled
    Triple dps comps disabled

In addition to the tournament titles, the only ones from which you can chose are self-explanatory arena titles showing the rating achievement of one of the 3 ranked brackets selected (Solo 3v3, Team 3v3, or Team 2v2), requiring a minimum of 1600 rating and adding +100 for each further title replacing the previous one, some examples:
    "2100 Team 3v3 Bkdbbre"
    "1600 Solo 3v3 Roillinx"
    "1900 2v2 Boingglal"
    "2000 Team 3v3 Khookd"
    "2400 2v2 Hegheg"
*From time to time, you might see some players with titles different from what is explained here; they obtained these titles a long time ago.

Apart from seasonal tournaments and qualifications as well as solo ranked 3v3, arena queues work cross-realm meaning you can also find yourself playing against players from our other WotLK realms, players who have access to stronger items.
*On your account, all characters of the same class share the same MMR (you can use the IG command ".u mmr" to read your MMR in the chat).
Note: When you join any arenas you can click on the red “Ready Marker” crystal visible in the starting room to indicate that you are ready to start, if everyone clicks on it, the match’s countdown instantly goes down to 15sc left.

    Spoiler: Show
Hail Playername, Johen Flire is who I am, thou remembereth me not, nor why thou stand where thou art, and neither how thou have gathered this parchment, strange chart with thee, and power stones in thy bags by three… Much limited is the information which I have sadly, as in a situation of the very same along with other ones I find myself, changing a lot is my body and as I am writing down those words I am losing memory… Understand I a magical event of a way occurred and access to the outside world seemeth to have diminished, in the process thousands fell and now ongoing is a teleportation enchantment. Allowed I am not to tell thou every thing part of the small knowledge hold I of this, therefore expect thou this hard to understand. Of power those stones are, in order to obtain aid unto this journey use them thou hast. Completely forgetting who they are most warriors it seemeth, no more of any meaning are factions, races not even, be thou exceedingly careful.

Along with giving an access to a fast gearing process based on each possible method the variety of individuals tend to prefer, plus competitive arenas; our goal for this realm is to provide a soft world-PvP environment including a custom constant exciting and deep world immersion feeling as welcoming as possible, a majestic world you quickly get attached to and wish to never leave.

    Welcome to Blackrock.

  2. You put a lot of effort and time on this idea but I really don't like the concept (just my opinion).
Multiple points bother me (1v1 on warsong is pointless, no places where i can chill/afk if I understood your Non-Stop PvP system, etc).
I think that if this is going to be implemented it must be a new realm and not on blackrock.

  3. No. (For the whatever time you`ve posted this.)
Simply will not work out, nor does it help.
If you want 'non-stop' PvP action, Isle`s already pretty active as it is.

  4. hey tks zoups

poxxy the concept itself as you mean it is actually not that much of a big part of this topic compared to all the points mentioned, i would rly appreciate if u could develop and give me ur pov about those since i edit and keep this topic up to date
1v1 wg in fact has a point which is to have access to a different kind of duel series which might feel a little more appealing and is actually also another additional alternative to obtain gold
regarding your other point, you definitely overestimate how crowded a map like that would be man, even with 2k+ online you would still easily be able to sit tight open world, especially with so many features, and that number is more than half the current population!
also, even if this realm somehow ends up actively having 3k+ or something, its always possible to increase the size of the map

this wouldnt be a non-stop pvp system, but a soft world-pvp environment in which you, as much as possible, never get bored

yo selaya, in the past ive only posted 2 different older versions of this topic on AT forums, and this one is the first time on warmane's so i gotta say i rly dont get the attitude! regardless, id rly like it if you could explain what it is exactly you believe wouldnt work/help, and why, it would help me

put effort in making not viable ideas from people into viable ideas

  5. Took notes of your 3.3.5c changes.

  6. Im only going to agree with the "DODGE AND PARRY CHANCES" part, the rest sounds stupid to me, excluding some stuff.
+1 for removing rng -1 for the rest.
Either thats gonna be a new realm or its not going to be on Blackrock.
We just need Cross-Realm 2s / 3s and maybe a new Meta, T2 weps mby?

  7. ROGUE
    Cloak of Shadows

(Spell Ability, 0 energy cost, Instant, 1.5 min cooldown)
Took notes of your 3.3.5c changes.
    keep it up malaco

  8. You guys have really lost your mind with all this unnescessary custom stuff. And what's worse, I see no strong opposition to all this. So sad.

For motivation, enthousiasm and time spent on these ideas I give you definately hands up. Well done!

Personally I do not think a patch 3.3.5c will really lead to attracting new or old players to come back in a massive scale. Patch 3.3.5b already did most in terms of those goals. Don't need to make ANOTHER patch. Especially because of the knowledge and know-how put in 3.3.5b compared to patch 3.3.5c. I think a patch 3.3.5c in this outlook will lead to more loss than profit compared to 3.3.5b.

Work on cross-realm arenas and/or make queueing more flexible than it is right now. For example no teams, but only personal rating like on retail. Or the ability for people to queue solo in 2v2 as specific set-ups (so as double dps, double melee or caster-healer). It will lead to more 'cannonfodder' in 2v2, but it will also lead to more people playing it. Which is especially interesting for people who want to farm their gear but can't find a partner.

  11. July 6, 2015
tks man, but i realise the patch part mightve actually been poorly presented since my point regarding it wasnt about adding those changes to 3.3.5b, but to have them implemented INSTEAD of 3.3.5b, i edited it!

The wall of text of OP was too much for me, but there is a few things I sort of like, well only some things he mentioned.

well the changes regarding the speccs and classes can be implemented on blackrock. but the whole new idea with all that extra **** and a completely new system would require a new realm i guess. neat idea though :P i would try it

better fix some annoying bugs before you dare adding custom stuff
