1. Hey, I was wondering if you gonna enable the legendary quest lines, so that the *****s that will keep whinning about not being able to buy shadowmourne can atleast have a chance to get it...not that they are gonna do it, but I would like to work for a weapon like that.
They will have a chance from Lich King or Hallion drop, but i don't know about that quest line because the reason it is disabled is because there are many exploits that result in receiving shadowmourne in 10 seconds without doing anything

    Oh !
Did they even say that ?

  3. This is a great idea and I can't wait for Lordaeron to be up and running. The RDF being disabled is a good thing, it enhances the social aspect of the game and it forces people to learn their class, which is a good thing.
No point store - perfect. Greens and especially blues shouldn't be on every single low leveled player, and especially no heirlooms. The coin store changes seem alright, that way people have an incentive to donate yet they won't have any large advantage over the other players.
There definitely should be a character naming policy, too, ******ed names such as "ifakursis" should be forbidden.
The delayed continent release is a fantastic idea and I think the delay should be even bigger. Kalimdor and EK at launch, Outland after 3 months, Northrend 3 months after Outland and then release the Northrend raids gradually, as Blizz did.
The portals are unnecessary. You want a hardcore blizzlike server? They didn't have portals in blizz.
The chest spawn thing might be interesting, although why only in EK and not another one in Kalimdor?

I'm all ears for an eventual release date. I can't wait for it to happen.

  4. what can u do in kalimdor and kingdom for 3 months? its gonna suck - but if the reason is to give more time to fix outland and nothrend, it is fine.
about rdf - first ppl who will join server will need all heroics but remember that after some time no1 will need heroics again and it will be hard to do dungs without licking to some ppl to do heroics. im sure most of u dont even think about those things. well if they will enable it in the future then its fine, but "permament no rdf" is a no.
another thing that some1 said here is that ppl here are "demanding" things but most just suggesting... ofc some coming with annoying demanding attitude but see it as suggesting, its all this thread is about, and they just want to make the server better so stop encouraging ppl to stop "demanding". ppl give here ideas that u probably never thought of.

  5. How are you supposed to level up to 70 (with no Outland) and to 80 (with no Northrend)? I don't think I would need more than 1 week for 60. Or did I miss something :o?

  6. I hope Kaer reads this.

Level 60 and 70 caps is unnecessary and useless. It will cause alot of instability among players/BGs/raids. People will be asking for certain (op) classes for PvE for example.

You people need to think in advance that WoTLK was NOT created/tuned for level 60/70 progress. It will be a chaos. Some classes/specs will be OverPowered and rest UnderPowered. It's not damn balanced. Content will be not properly done. If you want to bring a Vanilla/TBC feel just do a vanilla/TBC realm. It will be better and attract serious players.

Frustration will occur. Players will get forced to roll a certain class/spec because they'll get zerked. People will leave.

Level 80 race is fine, you can close level 80 dungeons for one month to let people gear up , enstablish a guild , form a party to zerk normal or heroic upcoming dungeons followed by a later on raid.

One thing I'd like to add is : in the first week/month of a raid/tier , release bosses before they got nerfed on retail. It will encourage hardcore guilds to actually spend more time on it. It will make things progress slower.

  7. That would also make sense. Even for hardcore players who plays the entire day, every day it would still take a month (at least) to reach northrend. I think people have forgotten just how hard it can be to progress on a 1x server. Whats the point of having a fully scripted northrend when nobody is even there and half the quests in The Barrens and Stranglethorne Vale are bugged, or dungeons like the Scarlet Monastery doesnt properly function.
A month to get to Northrend!?!?!? It's EASILY done in under a week if persistent enough..

a week? idk how much u play but if u dont play 24/7 + other faction wont kill u or take the bosses u need, and no power lvling u cant get it fast enought

I was fine with progressive outland and north release, but now when i see your point, i think it is maybe better to release both at start and make it progressive WOTLK realm.

  10. To the guy who said that half of the barrens quesnt are bugged, have you tried to lvl a char on the test realm? I am almost lvl 20 and i didnt find any quest bugged. Even the escort quests are working good. Go to lordaeron, test the realm, before you open your mouth.

I think the unbalancing won't be so severe. Besides, it would be a new expirience, toying around with specs, doing content another way, having to be creative with your class in order to succeed. I personally find the idea thrilling, because it will change the flow of the game, make people see more of the game, interact more with each other.

Players won't be forced to roll anything, because this will be only temporary. One-two months isn't a long time. You could also say "screw lvling, low levels are not balanced, give us insta 80". That's part of the fun - get to know your class, struggle a bit, find the way to do it, be creative, etc. Not just zerk 80 zerk dungeons zerk raids. If you want to do that - go to deathwind or ragnaros.

  12. @staff Any news/updates?

EDIT: I think staff should do a poll about closing northrend & outland.
I too think there's no need for those to be closed and the 80 race is normal.
Edited: July 13, 2015 Reason: Poll

  13. If you decide to release 70 and 80 zones at a later time, you need to launch the server with a 60 cap at experience (otherwise the blocking of the zones would be pointless, or do you think people will need 2 months to level to 70?). Don't underestimate the speed with which you level up even on a 1x rates sever. WoW is not like those crazy grind mmos where you need to grind for 5 months to get a level up. WoW is quest based and that's the reason you level up pretty fast even if you only quest a couple of hours per day.

That being said, I'd like to hear your side of the story. What made you consider releasing the zones at a later date?

  14. --->>!!!!Most important question!!!! <<---
Will you release new content like retail did back in wotlk times? Just like servers like ........ were they release content as time flies, like it was back then. If so, that would be amazing and this would definitely be my favorite server. EVER!

And to all those people complaining about Dungeon finder, did you even play wotlk in retail? Dungeon finder wasn't released until patch 3.3.0, when Icecrown was released. If the developers goal is just like I explained above, they will surely release dungeon finder at the same time as they release the Icecrown raid.
