  5. I'm sorry I expressed my thoughts poorly, I meant to say that the Wrath content will have to be redone for every toon, not every single raiding content of every expansion (and it doesn't even make sense because after those 2months wrath content will be open).
    I didn't say anything about people playing old content.

    I believe the main purpose of making TBC and Wrath content available after some time is to let a lot more people time to level and ready up for the wrath content, rather than opening everything at once and having some people rushing towards the raiding.

    It also helps a lot of people who don't play as much and would be left behind leveling (and to some extent let the devs fix last things in Northrend) but is by no means supposed to force player to do all the raiding content of those expansions to advance to the Wrath content, otherwise the time between Classic, TBC, and Wrath content release would have to be MUCH longer.

    When I read "old-school hardcore" written by the staff members as how hardcore should be interpreted, I also think about competition, because this realm, while also targetting people who just want an experience as close as possible to the Wrath expansion as a whole (!).

    It also targets player who enjoy to play competitively, who wants to challenge themselves throughout a whole expansion worth of content on a fresh realm where all the firsts achievement are yet to be obtained and where almost everyone have their chances to be part of the race (thus the delayed release).

    These are the main populations targeted by this brand new realm in my opinion, feel free to correct me if you think i'm wrong.

    You are correct, maybe i read your thread wrong but what i wanted to say is that they want to implement changes that are not going to change anything much. They fix endgame- okay we got endgame raids on other wotlk servers anyway. What do you get? Achievements. Opening the whole new server for achievements? Not bad but not quite enough. What do you get when you fix endgame? Turn back to the lvling. Altho i know that the biggest part of the game IS endgame but there are many more players lvling than there are 80. They want to implement something new. Okay so its not blizzlike anymore, i agree but they should implement something of a grand scale, like giving low lvls tokens for world kills ( not bgs) and their own vendor for heirlooms potions etc, maybe custom made idems to look different but with fair stats. Why? To keep people lvling and to attract others, to make more alts, more alts - more activity. Random chest spawns in kalimdor? Brings in only ganking, not so nice. How do you keep ppl lvling or doing something else? Rewards. Nothing much but still something unique that will keep them play and feel like they do something. To sum it up, even if they give us 100% working server, there is nothing new that we havent seen. AT did custom made pvp zones. So what they were still acknowledged on WCM and retail. Why? Because they did it feel good and fair for everyone else. As I said i'd rather play some kind of new WOTLK than the same one over and over again after so many years. Blizzard didnt make it perfect, why dont molten make it better?

    I have played on molten Frostwolf server since 2010 and before that i played retail since beggining.A couple of my friends from retail and me have led one of the oldest and most succesfull guilds on fw.Name was AfterLife.Than cata came out on fw and all has gone to hell.Cata was a bigg disaster even on retail not to mention moltens cata realm (no offence to anyone).Bugged quests raids dungeons classes zones etc.We have raided for quite some time there and than we stoped coz it started to get annoying(spriests oneshoting cho gal no progression at all no end game bosses and so on.After that thingy that i see ppl here calling a MOLTDOWN i didnt even bother getting my acc back coz i thought molten days of glory are over and couple of days ago i see this info and i am ****ing thrilled .

    Couple of toughts now

    Theres no much info about raids yet but whoever played retail and expirienced raiding on WOTLK knows that the best days of that expansion were ulduar raiding and chasing nax achivements.Ulduar is so competetive fun and demanding beyond limits that it rly requires skill and dedication to complete.Encounters like yog saron mimiron hc and others rly takes time to complete so i rly hope for the sake of good old days they will make progresion raiding without nerfs so ppl can go through all of it in detail.For example 1 month is not enough to do entire ulduar even for pros.If u consider 7 days raids reset ull have 4 raids per month and that is not nearly enough time for ppl to gear up for hc modes.So plz try to make raid and content releases as close to blizlike as posible.

    I saw alot of ppl whining about disabled rdf.Well big + for kaer and devs on this one.Rdf was introduced later in the expansion and in my opinion toc raid and rdf that folowd marked the beggining of crapy wow times.This is a new server so ppl will better socialise and make friendships.With rdf on u can just slack in major zones and spam rdfs all day long without even bothering to say hi to ppl that ur doing dungeon iwth.

    Donations are a must coz server needs to stay healthy so to say and ppl that are working so hard needs some sort of compesation.Buying end game gear shouldnt be an option and i honestly hope devs will find some other way of raising funds.I will for example donate in the first days server goes live and i dont expect anything in return.Having advantage over other players only coz some1 can afford it is stupid imho.

    Devs asked for our suggestions and i saw some comments that advice devs to tend to some matters that should be resolved among players.Penalty for leaving guild ,some sort of protection against gankers etc.Tha is wow at its best and it should stay that way.

    I will start PTR to try to help as much as i can.You will hear from me again coz i am reading this topick and checking it few times per day

    Well we already had that before with Lordearon, yea then there were more bugs but is it worth lvling again just on a bit better server? Idk but most of those ppl who left lord will come back again, only a minor number of new players will come here... To make it as blizz as possible? I guess that doesnt include custom made eastern kingdom or some other suggestions

    Well making the bosses pre-nerfed isnt custom its just adapting to the content molten is going release.

    For example Yogg sarons health pool was reduced by 20% in the last phase in 3.2 and there is so many more if you want i can get you Links to every Patch note and you will see how nerfed the bosses are on molten compared to what they were in retail when it was released. Adding a 20% health pool to the bosses would make it pre-nerf since all the classes damage/Healing was increased by every patch. I know there is alot of players that want pre-nerfed raids and it would be super hard to rescript every boss instead of just adding a 20% HP pool also ICC only need the buff removed and its Pre-nerfed. I think content should be released every 3-4 months, it will give people time even the most casual players to clear the content even tho its pre-nerf.

    I got ur point and i agree with you completely.I know all classes are stronger on 3.3.5 than they were when ulduar was top tier raid.All i wanted to say is that it would be very nice iff players are to feel ulduar as close as its possible to its full dificulty.And not only ulduar but all raids in wotlk expansion.3 to 4 months betwen releases would be very nice.No point in scripting pre icc raids if ppl dont have time to go through them completely

    Other thing that i forgot to mention is that it would be very nice if all events like Halowen festival lunar festival and so on are to work properly and in time when they are supposed to work.Also rare titles like the insane seeker and others.

    Altho i would like a Hand of Adal title it wouldnt be blizlike if it can be obtained :(

    yeah asked that some pages ago but no response... skadir boss in utgarde too (was bugged for centuries in the past lordaeron) and the stupid bosses skip (darktharon keep second boss) the frog at gundrak and the loot from hall of stone and some more that i dont remember - didnt play alot of time
