Character rename. No rename or high cost rename?

If we're still able to change our names when we gender/race/faction change, then I'm fine with not allowing it. It will be gamebreaking for me if I change from male Human Paladin to female Draenei Paladin and am unable to change my name. You could, however, just give it a big cost ( Points, not Coins ), big cost but still possible, with a long cooldown ( like a few months ) and there you go, ninjas can't make use of it anymore. Or perhaps have a system that remembers all names of a character no matter how many times they namechange and have people send screenshots with the names of ninjas and GMs can track them by their old name, etc.

Poll time, result difference and feedback has been extensive enough to conclude that Lordaeron will have no support for character renaming. If faction change or race change would be allowed on Lordaeron they will not offer character renaming. No character renaming will be a design feature of Lordaeron. Thank you for your feedback.
