Can someone please explain to me how this trinket works? I've checked Wowhead and there is conflicting information regarding it. It says if you hard refresh it it keeps the crit and some says if I mind flay, it keeps the crit which to me sounds conflicting, also what about VT and DP?

If you cast SWP under the effects of that trinket's buff, SWP keeps the 920 crit rating for as long as it's refreshed by your Mind Flay. Crit bonuses continue to "roll" on dots so long as they don't fall off. As a spriest, another benefit to pre-potting with Wild Magic is that your SWP has a 5% or so higher crit chance the whole fight than that of other priests.
