Wait you're actually linking the ladder 2 or 3 days after season reset and think you've accomplished something? Hahaha wow, all the guilds mentioned in this thread are terrible bg guilds. And not I don't count graveyard farming people who are using bgs for their actual purpose (gearing) as pvp. Unless you actually think blizzarding the graveyard in your max gear vs people with 350k hp constitutes as pvp.

I faced that vraijoturu or w/e in arena btw, he actually yelled "LOL hide behind pillar more noobs" after which his cds ran out and we crushed his hopes and dreams. Statements like that do prove that you generally have no idea how actual pvp in this game works.

Luckily for you some good alliance players have gone horde now and I'll be moving my druid soon too cause troll looks cooler than NE. Maybe we'll finally see some horde players on the ladder when it's been up for more then 2 weeks.

If you actually read the thread, there is some guy that says a PvP guild is only PvP guild if the players in the guild ONLY participate in Arenas. Saying anything other than arenas, (battlegrounds, world PvP, rated battlegrounds, city raids) are not considered PvP. On top if that, he says they must be high ranking in the PvP ladder to even be considered a PvP guild. SoL doesn't claim to be a PvP guild. Ironelf's comment was intended to be a troll remark of sarcasm to retort and mock that guy claiming that. This thread was to show how well and how much fun two guilds, SoL - Social Guild, and CCC - PvP guild, can work together and accomplish a goal. On top of that, challenging Pokemonz to more world PvP fun.

Well if you think jumping someone 50v1 in duel pits makes you a PvP guild, there are probably some sad new to be broken to you. Case of most whorde guilds, unfortunately.

Luckily, we aren't a PvP guild, as stated several times. But I do like to break down the word PvP. Player versus Player. That can be singular or plural use, in any settings. If you get ganked by 50 players, you are still engaged in a PvP scenario. If you and 50 of your friends are ganking 1 player, you are still engaging in PvP. Even if its a higher level versus a lower level, it's still considered player versus player, aka, PvP. No one is saying its fair, but this is a PvP realm so can't complain. But bottom line, your guild doesn't have to spend every second of every minute of everyday in arenas and only arenas to be considered a PvP, player versus player, guild. There are many other forms of PvP that doesn't limit you to only arenas.

It is with great grief and saddness in my heart that I must report that the well known social guild Slice of Life has become PvP guild. May this day be marked on all our calendars and remembered with bittersweet nostalghia as the day it irreversibly went PvP. The culprit has been identified within our guild and necessary measures have been taken, alas, our good name has forever been tainted.

RIP social guild. May you find life on the endless fields of PvE and socialising.

Based on that logic, can you please let me know if questing, fishing, and cooking count as PvE. Let me break it down for you as well, Player vs. Environment. Fishes are not players, nor is meat, so that's certainly player against environment.

I'm sticking by my statement that the focus of PvP guilds should be to have a good representation on the arena ladder, much like the main focus of PvE guilds is to be raiding heroic content.

I'll add in that Rated BGs should be another focus, but given how rare they are, I don't blame PvP players for focusing on arenas (which are easier to setup/join) rather than waste an hour trying to set up rated BGs before someone has to leave and you're back to square one.

But by all means, continue judging PvP players based on how well they can gank players 5v1 and how well they can own a bunch of players in green gear in a random BG. They are the true PvP players of our realm, much like how those with 600 fishing are the true PvE'rs of our realm...

PvE is considered dungeons and raids.

I'm amazed you still can't understand why I keep bringing up fishing and questing. I'll assume by this point you're either trolling or are genuinely that stupid. In either case, I've realized I'm wasting my time posting here. If you folks actually had any experience in arenas, had Battlemaster, or hell, even an impressive amount of kills, I would maybe try to understand your point of view. But it really does speak a lot about Horde mentality that they think Random BGs and World PvP are more important for PvP players than arenas. I really wish you guys had joined a PvP guild in your playtime so that you could understand how stupid you sound to the rest of us, but alas, that is a moot point.

There is a significant amount of hypocrisy in this statement, as I could say the same of Horde players who are not only arguing against facts (that Blizzard develops PvP around arenas) but are also arguing against what majority of the PvP community believes. Also the blatant racism is unneeded, and I am Canadian.

Anyways, I'll enjoy reading whatever outstanding reply you guys muster. I'm sure it'll involve telling me how I don't know anything about PvP and how Random BGs and World PvP are far superior than the environment that, not only all the major PvP players on retail focus on, but the environment around which Blizzard itself focuses its PvP on. I'm sure you do know more than the very developers who created this game.
