Connection issues

Today starting probably somewhere at 6pm UTC+1 time, i couldnt log in to my wow account on the MoP realm Frostwolf. I could log into the website with the same account though. Thinking it was just my account that was buggy, my brother tried logging and it would say the same thing: "This account has to be transfered to Battle.net account" and just wouldnt let me log in. This happened before. Rarely this would occur when i enter my username and pass and tried to log in, but another attempt would work. This time, it's just stuck at the message.
Any feedback would help.
Quoting the message: "This account has to be converted to a Battle.net account."
And then the link to creating an account on original battle.net website.
