1. Would be good to fix buffstacking and dmg of some classes so the 3v3 on this server gets popular and putting tabards and let's say the old cataclysm elite gear for raiting requirement would push people to play way more 3s.And the 3v3 tourneys for transmogs and mounts is a really nice idea. Ofc more often :)

  2. The GM games

    Greetings Warmane,

As the name of the thread itself suggests, we would like to hear about your ideas for events and possible suggestions on our already existing events. Please write constructive ideas and feel free to include criticism. All ideas and suggestions should go in this thread and everyone can comment on each other's ideas as long as the feedback is constructive and well within our forum rules.

    Try to include:
    • Name of the event
    • Brief description of it
    • Reward suggestions
    • Any comments you might have

    Thanks!
As you can see most of the PvP lovers take no interest in events all they prefer is to spam global. So for PvP event Battleground is the best option.
Name of The Event :- Battlegrounds with GM

Description :- As you can see the name describe the event but I ll explain. So 2 GM 1 from horde side and 1 from ally side will make a group for Battleground and both GM will also take part on it. Take only 515+ item level or 522 its just a matter of fact that's your decision and rules are pretty simple the winning team get everything losing team get Nothing Like ZERO. Well player like interaction with their GM's so if the both GM take part as a leader then its Party for player.

Rewards :- Winning Battleground reward Justice point and Conquest as everyone know but I have better suggestion for this event.
1st. Reward of 1k Conquest point per member for winning team.
2nd. Giving away mounts to 10 player isn't a good Idea but still they worked hard so you can give away if u want only battleground mounts.

Its better if u do this on release of new Battlegrounds Like an opening ceremony. Hope you Like. :) I have more crazy Ideas to post ;) but later.

  3. A World PvP event to make the game more exciting for everyone would be appreciated.

    Name: King of the Hill

Description: A certain spot will be announced (such as Blackrock Mountain or Stromgarde) and the faction who controls the longest in a certain time-limit wins. The GM will announce the zone 10 minutes before the event starts, and after 15 minutes of fighting the faction who controls the zone wins. Hopefully this encourages more guild cooperation and World PvP to bring the War back into Warcraft.

Rewards: A chest will spawn the winning faction is announced and it will contain currency, mounts and/or gear.

  4. <Thunder Bluff Darts>

Level 1 Taurens move to thunder bluff's edge. A target is marked below and level 1 Taurens jump off the edge aiming for the bullseye. Hilarity ensues. Optional: Mark a small zone(engineer smoke flares), anyone who lands outside is eliminated, gradually make the zone smaller and smaller. Best effect when taurens are made to jump at the same time. Anyone landing outside is kicked from the raid.

Possibility of designing a specific course for this minigame.

Rewards can include BoA gear, cosmetic tabards and cosmetic items such as deviate delights, size pots/ noggenfoggers etc.

  5. Purge (Wolrd Free For All)
    Levels 1-90
    Both Factions
    Duration: 1 hour
Reward: nothing, just pure fun; surviving the purge alone or with friends.
For opting out: Go to Safe non pvp zones like dalaran, shattrah city, etc.
Partying: Yes, must be made prior to event, if not, form some type of alliance with someone or a group and hope they don't kill you.

I dunno if a GM with admin rights is capable of doing this or not but I was thinking on an in-game Purge Event.
The GM or Event organizer will state everyone to: Form a Party/Raid, Go hide for the next one hour, or simply log out for the duration of the Purge event, which is an hour by the way.

How it works is the second it begins, everyone, and I mean everyone Horde AND Alliance will be red for anyone, who isn't part of targets party, to be a target.

It is a 1 hour Free for All world pvp event, does not effect battlegrounds, arenas, etc, if people want to do that they can go to safe non pvp zones to continue doing their business.

This event effects all players on MOP levels 1-90, and it pays homage to the what blizzard did in 2008, minus the zombies.
The idea is still in a draft phase, but you get the picture.

  6. Hello everyone.

First I've been playing for along on molten along time and before that another server for many years.
Why dont you just do what was succecfull there ? One thing is that I think you do too few events. You make them too complicated and set too many things in motion for it, it seems like. From what I see, why dont you do more ? Small events, Quick ones. Ones that dont take long. You announce the event in time and then open for whispers when the time has passed and you invite the first ones untill you have enough.

These could be held several times a day. Rewards can be different ofc. Usaly gold or honor would be the main reward. Sometimes you could say it was an item ingame.. High lvl one.. or just a lower pvp or pve set item(s) etc.. But that makes it a lil complicated so maybe jsut make that for special things. Could be special mounts or pets aswell etc.

Otherwise the events could be so many.
    Like:

Hide and seek: Event Master hides and continues to gives hints until 3 or 5 people have found him. Could be with a /wave on the char.
Ally-VS-horde (BG): 1 GM on each team summon 15 players from each faction then they queue together.
40-VS-40 (etc.): Ally-VS-Horde. Figure out a place to set it up. No distraction, a place where players cant normally go. They summon each team on 2 spots and buff up and go at it.
Simon says: Can be for any lvl. GM summon 10 players maybe. They stand in line and do and only do when and what simon says. GM controle when and what is said.
Russian Roulette: Players will be summoned and stand in a circle (or a triangle, square, maybe a parallelogram) GM roll a numer. Players are grouped up in several groups, you roll one at a time. If you are 10+- from the number you die. if you land DIRECTLY on it you choose the one who does.

There are many events to choose from. I hope to see more of this ingame and more reguarly.
(It's not a GM for this.. Is it then a BM ?.. sigh :|)

Anyways thats just some and a very quick explanation of it I could put out.
    PM if more.

    Peace out.

  7. ive built a pvp race event from the ground, a event that holds 100 players easly, a event that has checkpoints so that if you die you appear on the last check point you past, a race with Mines, "parkour" literaly u had to jump certain things to pass certain obstacles, it even had a forest at some point with a bunch of npcs that stun you and slow you down
Anyways ive sent to some people they all ignored... id post pictures here, it looks amazing, but than someone can use it and its my work.

  8. New Event

So for this even we will be needing 4 GM-s two for Orgrimmar and two for Stormwind
At the same time Gm-s swoop down from air and horde and alliance must make a raid before you guys attack, and 2 gm-s vs main city(s). I think it's a good idea coz it includes everyone in it, and as reward I was thinking emblems or Vote points or 1 coin for every participant something like that. All you guys have to do is take a form of some creature you like and attack the city :) if you do so please make it on every Realm.

    Thank you :)

  9. Juggernaut Free For All

    Description:
10 man free for all PvP battle where one player at the start is randomly given a buff that increases their damage by 100%, decreases their movement speed by 35% (mounted and run speed), increases their size by 100%, and damage taken by 25%. Nine players will spawn at random points of the bg map (any bg map would do whether it's WSG or Twin Peaks) equal distances from each other and the Juggernaut will spawn in one of the two bases on the map (as to prevent all other 9 players from ganging up on them from the start). When the Juggernaut dies, the player who dealt the killing blow would be teleported to one of the bases, banished for 10 secs, and have the buff applied to them (to have some time for the actual free For All to take place in the BG so no one is just sitting to wait for the Juggernaut). Once the Juggernaut leaves the base, they're fair game at that point.

If a player dies more than 10 times, they are eliminated (put into spectator mode.)
No Graveyards (run to retrieve corpses, as having GY's would also include people camping GY's for recently-revived players)
No Resurrection Penalty (10 second respawn timer no matter how many times you die)
If a player has gone without deaths for a certain amount of time (5 minutes minimum), they should receive a debuff increasing their damage taken by 25%, increasing by 15% for every 90 seconds they remain alive (Maxes out at 100%)
If a player has died more than 5 times within the first 2 minutes of the game WITHOUT any kills, they shall receive a buff that increases their damage dealt by 50% ONLY to the Juggernaut, increasing by 5 percent each time they die until maxing at 75% when the death limit (10 deaths) is reached.
If the Juggernaut leaves the event, disconnects, or dies from damage not done by a player or player pet/guardian, then another player would be randomly chosen and buffed as the Juggernaut.
    No Premades allowed.

The last person standing can receive rewards accordingly to the realm and expansion the event is hosted on (Realms like Neltharion and Frostwolf could have rewards in Gold, Honor, Conquest and a bit of Coins while Blackrock or Warsong can have simply Conquest/Arena Points, Honor Points, and a [normally unobtainable or outdated] pvp title of the Staff's choosing) taking into consideration whether or not the last person standing would be Juggernaut or not (since the last kill wouldn't have granted the buff until after the 10 seconds of being banished).

For example, Cataclysm rewards could go as follows:
    1st Place (as Juggernaut): 50,000 gold, 3500 Honor, 2200 Conquest, 35 coins.
    1st Place: 25,000 gold, 2500 Honor, 1250 Conquest, 30 Coins.
    2nd Place (as Juggernaut): 22,500 Gold, 2000 Honor, 1175 Conquest, 27 coins.
    2nd Place: 20,000 gold, 1750 Honor, 1000 Conquest, 25 coins
    3rd Place: 15,000 gold 1250 Honor, 750 Conquest, 20 coins*

*Since only one of the last two players could have been a Juggernaut, there would be no Juggernaut in 3rd place.

Correct any part of this idea you find unbalanced or impossible to do and alter it as much as you'd wish.

Very well made and a lot of thought went into it. We'll be looking into how we can implement this. If you have any suggestions as to per what kind of spells (that are already in the game) we can use for the Juggernaut effect, please PM me.
    Edited: November 22, 2015

  12. Rated Battlegrounds .That's my suggestion ,coz we can't play rated battleground so often coz it's not working as it should.

  13. 10-man arena, free for all.

    Level brackets : 19, 40 and 90.

    Last man standing wins.

  14. Twink 60,70,79 Pvp tournaments(1v1,many vs many ),for example in open world-arenas like Gurubashi,Dire Maul Arenas,so wake up the twinks from their long slumber :)

  15. How about making a Hogger raid ? Who better to kill than everyone's favourite npc ? Give him some spells, attacks, make him stronger so lvl 80 people can have a decent fight and make him drop fun items and mounts when killed + some emblems. And if possible, make him say stupid / funny stuff from time to time while fighting him. You had last year or something like that a snowman event right ? Well you can make something like that but instead of a useless and weak snowman that can be killed by a fire mage in a second, put the awesome Hogger as the villain. And you could make this event more than once since most people would love to take their revenge.
