1. RP character backstory

I've had this story for awhile , finally decided to share it! Any thought, opinions, or corrections are welcomed. (All lore is from memory so open to fixing inaccuracies)

    Name: Jorgosh Skullslinger/ Elder Vargoth
    Age: ??
    Sex: Male
    Race: Undead Orc/ Undead Human
    Class: Deathknight/Warlock/Mage

Jorgosh Skullslinger was one of the first Orcs to partake in demonic magic on Draenor, once a warrior who aspired to become a shaman of the Bleeding Hollow clan he quickly lusted after the power of the Fel magic. Trained under the Shadow Council by Cho'gal, Jorgosh was a very skilled warlock. He never particularly caught onto summoning demons but rather had a niche for using his own body as a vessel to host demonic energies. Mind control, teleportation, soultrapping, transfiguration; these were skills he excelled in.

His initial role was accompanying rogues in stealth raids against Draeni before the Dark Portal opened. He used fel magic to cloak his comrades and demonic entities to scout their prey. This execution squad was an essential part of the Shadow Councils tactics but credit seldom was granted to these warriors.

With Nerzhul gone and Guldan in charge, with the rumors of the portal opening spreading among the ranks, Jorgosh was one of the first to volunteer to accompany the Bleeding Hollow and Warsong clans to Azeroth. Present at the battle of Stormwind, he fell to the most unlikely of foes: A child. A child with courage. One who took up arms and surprised the cruel orc. A dagger to the back with a squeal, Jorgosh knew he would die soon. Laughing and smiling as he felt his blood drain from his face this young orc knew what was to come next. The child shook in fear at the reaction of the grim, bleeding warlock, then without further reaction, he trapped the childs soul in a crystal and fell over dead.

However this is not the end of Jorgosh but only the beginning. Resurrected by necrotic magic; he awoke in the body of a human. This wasn't any old human though, he hated the ancient wrinkled body he had been cursed with, but thus was the body of one of the original 100 mages of Dalaran. Jorgosh didn't know this initially. It was only when his own mind began to speak to him. Jorgosh began having false memories and found himself wrestling with his own thoughts.

He learned of who he had became. A revered magister. Someone who was a lover, who had a lover. Something Jorgosh had never experienced. He felt his rotting heart beat with compassion for once. He felt remorse.

Confused and angered, he abandoned the Horde and retreated into solitude accompanied by only the courageous soul of a child.

Years passed and the old warlocks mind twisted and melded together with that of the mages; he became torn between personalities. He no longer knew who he was. Soon he found himself sharing a corpse. Trapped in each others minds Jorgosh constantly fights for control of his mortal form. Or does he? Is it all in his head? Has a once noble warrior drove himself mad? Impossible to tell, but legend advised stray clear of the Spirit of Trisfal if you value your life; or seek him out for advice. You will never predict the actions of a madman, very talented in arcane arts, some say his knowledge is worth the risk

  2. Cool stuff - Are you going for a gestalt personality or more of a split personality? That is, are you going to flip between Orc and Human, or do a little of both at the same time?

  3. Little bit of both at once. The mage is dead and in the afterlife. He only retains memories of the mage which confuses him. You never remember something from 3rd person, so when the orc has these false memories he sees it as himself or he remembers it as him rather than the mage. He then remembers the feelings. Jorgosh never had a mate, while the mage did. This causes him to feel intense sorrow and not understand it.

For example he would claim he was one of the 100 Dalaran mages but also claim he is an orc warlock but never be able to explain how or why, rather just ignore /kill you if you question him, prone to anger outburst and emotionally unstable , he's always the orc but thinks he's the mage. It's like schizophrenia
