Lordaeron. First impression.

Hello,

It has now been almost 24 hours since the launch which has been relatively smooth and stable so far. We will be conducting public polls at several stages of the launch to learn about player experience. Please keep in mind that Lordaeron's bug reports are to be directed at a new Wrath of the Lich King section in the bugtracker later today as old reports will be archived. This topic is not for bug reports but about your overall impression of the realm so far, especially by Warmane players from Deathwing and Ragnaos.

Really great so far. As far as server launches go, this was amazing.

- Realm's uptime within its first hour or so of release was well over 90% - much more than I expected.
- Staff did a great job actively addressing bugs players were experiencing, and applying several hotfixes live.
- Mob/pet pathfinding does work near flawlessly here, with the only problem being, and this doesn't happen much at all, the fact that some mobs weirdly evade attacks sometimes.

My Hunter is nearly level 20 and the only gripes so far I've had are the fact that caster mobs seem to hit a tad harder than they should, which given the speed at which mobs are respawning makes a lot of quests very difficult to do alone, and the fact that there was an escort quest in the Barrens which, when my party member started, I couldn't also start because clicking yes on the pop-up dialogue didn't do anything.

Really amazing so far :) Just have not get to the content that i have tested which i look forward to see if there has been any fixes made as of yet :) Can't really judge since i'm only 21 and i leveled on the PTR as well to 80 :) The rush of people and so much NPC camping it was ridiculous hahah! :D

Very Impressed. Bugs fixed quick as well and crashes fixed as well. Awesome! all quests I have done have worked apart from one, which is now fixed.

Can you guys answer this question though? or perhaps do a Q and A video?

Q: How long will each phase last between raids, e.g when Naxx comes out, how long till Ulduar? and how long till toc? etc. I am thinking of not just pve progression but pvpers. We all need time to gear, to experience and to play the ladder etc. Do you guys have a set time in mind? I feel it would be better

It's much better than I expected. Yesterday went fairly smooth considering the release and hotfixes. Lvling seems a bit harder than old Lordaeron, though. :D

the best server so far... only a few dcs when all the people on the server were in starting zones... now i can clearly see working WG ;)
i played on many server which were droppin for the first 2-5days... this server was stable after 4 hours with pernament fixes and annoucements...
keep on rockin!
haters gonna hate as usual...
this is the last server i play on but def. worth of it!

For 'most complete' server lack of basic textures like undead face is funny. Mobs sometime behave weird when you attack them with party people, they start to evade, immune, go back to their walk paths. Also bugs of molten are here; combat bug, rogues having to wait 3-5 seconds to get out of stealth after being busted by mob. When you take a flight, log out in middle of it the travel will take longer than necessary. /leave and /join commands behave weirdly - sometimes they dont work at all, sometimes they just don't give feedback.

Tbh it is excellent.Id say working content is 99% so far and it is truly amasing experience.

You surely guys did a vast job and in end i think it will deffo be amazing to play here.

I am disappoint (explain why)
Well it's freezing all the time and i already made a ticket. I'm playing with 20-30 fps... I tried on another realms (Deathwing and Ragnaros) and on Cataclysm Neltharion and its fine, no problems there. Only on this Lordaeron is freezing... I even disabled Vsync and i reached 200 fps and again i was freezing then i enabled again Vsync, cuz no sense to be disabled. My monitor is 60 Mhz and as i hear i can't have more than 60 fps, but 60 fps for me is almost enough, cuz no freezing.Even when i'm fighting with mob's im freezing.Help please.

Unlikely an issue with the server itself, perhaps the client or the zone you are in? There haven't been any reports of freezing by anyone, yours is the first one I see.
