I can't see my characters

Hello Cammunity ! I just want to ask if is there any update or patch i should install to see my characters, i mean i used to play like 2 years ago and whenever i log in on lordaeron it says 2 characters, but whenever the server is loaded i can't see/select the characters to play....
Btw i tried to 'create new characters with the same names' and it says they are in use.. so... i guess the characters exist but for some reason i can't see them

Did you check if the names are in use? https://armory.warmane.com/
It could be that names were removed due to inactivity, and the names got taken by other players afterwards.
If the characters were below level 50, the system deleted them during inactivity cleanup.
If they were above 50, they were deleted by another user, or you logged wrong account.
