AFAIK rune of power still not viable to use, so most arcane mages use invocation. Arcane mage excel in cleave situation and multidot target because nether tempest proc more arcane missile than living bomb. Even in pure single target we still use nether tempest for more trinket proc and arcane missile proc. You can maintain rotation below if you have 2 or more target:
Dot boss + 1/2 adds
arcane missile till 4 charge
ardane barrage if you have 4 charge
Rune of Power works half last time I checked. Gives SP but no mana-regen. Most use Evocation, which works fine.
There is no seperate rotation when going Invocation, general thumb of rule though is the following:
1. Have the buff up all the time during the fight.
2. Use the buff at times where you need to have a filler, such as your Arcane Barrage is traveling would be the perfect time to do a full invocation. (Only when travel-distance is long)
3. Never use Invocation when you have 2/+ stacks. It's just a waste. (Arcane Barrage(4 stacks)->Invocation) works decently well
