Technical Game Settings isn't saved

Hi, I'm using the MOP with WOD model CLient, I can't save the setting(general, sounds) that I intend to use when I'm using the the client. And everytime I run the client, I need to sign agreements that pops up when you run wow for the first time. I tried running the wow.exe but it always crashed. "cannot open Data/wow-update-base-17345.MPQ" or "Data/enGB/wow-update-base-17345.MPQ".

another thing, I can't get out of worgen starting quest yet. but I'm pretty sure that I can find the solution in the forums..

right click your wow folder, go to properties and uncheck "read only". apply and you should be able to save your settings.
