[MoP]Current State of the twinking community and Alternatives to various stuff

It has come to my attention that many twinks guilds are either falling and or being to fall due to the lack of content, death of the market and so forth.

What I can do now i flesh out what is available for anyone attempting to twink on Frostwolf, just to keep the wheel rolling for those that revived it after Sargeras transfers to Frostwolf.

They call me ambassador of twinking, so I live up to that hype since Hellscream, Stormstout and ol' Neltharion. My objective is to help twinks and twinking community. My original plan was to help keep twinking alive for all brackets on Frostwolf/Sargs before I try to help out Neltharion, but cata is dying :S, so I remain here and do what I can and watch a lot of twinks come and go. When Sargs went down, I join a few other twinks to revive 70 bracket in Frostwolf, not only this, but Healdot's ten twink guild and Old School 60s were able to come out and do their thing, ANYWAY continue to read if you are trying to twink, this is regarding 70s and a bit of 80s bracket.

I am going to be blunt: there is no SWP (Sunwell Gear), so do not blame that for not twinking, even thought some notable people are Grandfathered Twinks already. It's also an issue for those among 80s BG as well: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....5-89-queue-bug
If these brackets exist in the future (20s,30s,40s,50s), they will suffer from that too. I haven't been on bug tracker long, you should be able to find and vote up that issue, which I know it has been mentioned.

MEETING SPOTS

Formerly we met at New Stormwind (Hearthglen), instead it is best to meet in passive areas such as Dalaran, Dark Portal, Argent Tournament, etc.
Also ganking isn't cool, doing so will only prompt stronger twinks to show up and stop it, at times 90s are usually involve, hence the reason The Keep is always overrun with 90 Horde, so go to Dalaran or get jumped in world pvp.

Reasons is becomes fault prompt:
*Lack of players queing on either Faction.
*System may be seeing closed off maps such as AV, and or trying to put players in 90 maps, twin peaks for example, which is not low level based for people below 80.
*Battleground CAN and MAYBE full, sometimes people que when a match is full already and dont get in.
*Instant que is 5-/50 chance, commonly on Alliance side.

As for arena, it sees 80/90 arena maps and does not let you try for arena unless it is the tbc ones.

The Battaleground/Arena Ques

This is a big issue people like Kadvoirdz, Kazzad, Mythirac, Dujin, and Stressful mentioned in the early days of twinking. When a player ques and accepts, it does not push them into the Battlegrounds map, and it is known to be a bug. Panpolo and Nano mention this, however, Rflow who came along a bit later on mentioned and posted a bugtracker report about it. You should be able to find it somewhere on bugtracker and vote it up.

Dungeons

As stated before, many think of not having the TBC raids as an excuse, even when market was up to speed, THOSE TWINKS were told time and time again to gear up incase of a market change, this is not the first time this happen, if those of you were familiar with the uber, god-twinks in molten past before moltdown and before we even had cata.

Sholazar Basin is also known from dropping extremely rare and useful items twinks can use, a few twinks are using them and doing well with them, so keep that in mind.

WORLD BOSSES

For now these are the 2 common ones, that I and a few have known for some time, these bosses GET FARM'D ON THE DAILY SO PLAN AHEAD.

Monks may not get the best gear, BUT, can have an edge. All monks can go to pandaria, and farm for epic items (not ones you can equip) that is capable of trolling enemies.

Professions:

Wanna hit harder? Get 450 in professions and get epic recipes to benefit and or contribute to yourself and or parties, that nuff said right here.
You are required to farm JP (easier if you have a 90), to get said items to purchase recipes and so forth.

Wanting to bump this because the soon to be 5.4.8 update.
Also if Neltharion twinks cannot BG/Arena like us, just maybe they will have option to xfer here, this is just something to keep in mind.

EDIT:

There is chance that cross faction talk to cease, so meeting in Dalaran may cease too, unless someone can think of something else to do if the latter comes to it.

Crossfaction Raid Call or Team Dpeak channel for all twink oon the server, may be a good idea regardless of if Xfac chat gets fixed or not
