WotLK Lordaeron lvl 80 spec question

Hey guys im currently leveling a rogue on lordaeron and i wanted to ask what do you think will be better specs for pvp and pve prior icc release and high end game items?Do you think assassination will outperform combat before icc comes out and with it alot of items with arp?And for pvp too do you think assassination will be better before icc comes out and you can get those arp off parts for high end subtlety build?

PvE-wise I'd say Assa will definitely beat Combat early on simply because of the 3.3x Deadly Poison change. Also, T7 and T8 heavily favor Assa stats-wise.
