1. Bloodherald Line - The Lordaeron Alliance storyline-RP guild

    The Lordaeron Storyline-Roleplay guild

Bloodherald Line is a Lordaeron guild for the Alliance Roleplayers out there.

We are a “Cloak and Dagger” group involved in intrigue, infiltration, espionage, assassinations and off-the-record tasks that need to be performed, but no one is willing to dirty their hands. The Bloodherald Line is led by the mysterious Fleet, an unknown figure that acts as the “middle man” between the organization and the Alliance’s higher ups, and the elf Anderida, a renegade shape-shifter exiled from the druid coven.
The guild will feature a continuous storyline crafted to play out in episodes. You join as a character, and you roleplay as that character, as you will have an active part in the guild's plot development.
This will give the players the opportunity to craft a fleshed out character with a story, a personality, goals and background. This type of RP allows the player to evolve both as a RPer and as a character in game, as well as play out your own storyline. You may start as a petty scammer looking for the first opportunity to escape a life of misery, and rise to the highest of the ranks!

You have your character and you want to join?

Before doing so however, it would be best to think of a good reason as to why would you join us, and what could you offer us. The Bloodherald Line is an off-the-record organization and as such, it accepts individuals from absolutely all walks of life, from lowly criminals to members of the influential Stormwind nobility, to holy (and not-so-holy) priests of the Light.... and not only.
After contacting any member either through an OOC /w or an IC letter, or however you decide, we’ll settle a time when you can come online and attend the interview which will be entirely IC. Of course, you will first receive an official IC letter letting you know that you were selected by the supreme authority to join the Bloodherald Line.
The interview will only happen between you, Fleet and Anderida. Everything discussed during this interview will stay there and no other members will know what was being discussed.
After you join us, you will not be immediately made a full member, but a Confidant. We need to trust you first, so you will be given a mission to complete, and only then will you be promoted to the rank of Line.

So in short, the steps are:
    Spoiler: Show
    1. Create your character. Make sure to pick a lore-friendly name! No one wants to see Zzsasukezz running around. (exceptions can be made only to high level characters who don’t wish to reroll back)
    2. Send a whisper to any member.
    3. Once Anderida and Fleet are made aware of, you will receive an official letter, inviting you to join a short but vital IC interview.
    4. We will decide the interview time and date, so we will be online with no problems.
    5. Congratulations! After the interview, you are accepted into the organization, but you will not be a full fledged member yet. You will be made a Confidant.
    6. To become a Line (a full member), you will need to successfully finish a mission entrusted to you by the Grand Master.
    7. Once you become a Line, you will be trusted enough to be allowed into top secret missions and be given knowledge about the ultimate goal of the organization.

Important information about the Bloodherald Line as a Roleplay guild, first and foremost.
    Spoiler: Show
    - We will use IC for In character, meaning everything that happens or is said officially by the character or characters. OOC is for Out of Character, meaning everything that is out of RP. The guild chat is always OOC, so do use it at your heart's content.

    - Character class OOC is not the same as the character class IC, although it must be the closest thing available.
That being said, you can’t play for example a rogue, and act as if your character is a sorcerer IC. Play a mage or a non-demon user warlock (as in don’t have your demon run around). This allows people to play classes are in the lore, but not in game, like Runemasters, Geomancers, Pyromancers, Barbarians, Pirates, etc.

    - Once accepted, you will be given the uniform and you will wear the uniform every time you will be called for guild business. There is no excuse for not wearing the uniform as it will be cloth armor and everyone will be capable of wearing it. It’s also carefully selected to fit and make the character look good and professional. As ranks progress, the uniform will be less and less strict. However, the Lines themselves will wear the uniforms during guild episodes (or business / missions / tasks). We are an organization, not a band of unruly mercenaries. We do advise you to build your RP outfit, because of course you will not be out doing missions every day.

    - We do not accept warlock / demonologist / fel-mage type characters IC. OOC, you can be mage or warlock if you want to play a sorcerer or magic-user (the game mechanics allow both classes to fit the role). So for example, your gnome character is a warlock OOC, but IC you play as a scholar. That’s fine. IC however we won’t accept fel magic users within our ranks.

    - Because we will also deal with important characters from time to time (king Varian, Archbishop Benedictus, several human nobles, the SI:7 to name a few) dialogue done by NPC characters will be done only by the guild master in the form of:
King Varian says: “text goes here
The dialogue lines will be in concordance with the lore and will not be used lightly, and only to advance the overall guild storyline. For example, you will never hear a respected noble suddenly talk like he’s part of some rapper group, and no, king Varian himself is not someone’s secret lover. We want to be part of the lore, not bend it! All important dialogue spoken by important characters will be previously considered by the guild leader in private, as to make it as close to the lore as possible.

    - Common sense is the secret of every good RP. Act as if you are a normal individual within the Warcraft Universe. An unimportant human farm owner will not become a master magician overnight, and just because a druid can transform into a feline or a bear, doesn’t mean that they are instantly more powerful that other people or even other animals. Still, because the guild features a continuous storyline, you can evolve as a character and become powerful indeed. It just doesn’t happen overnight, that’s all.

    - Remember that the world itself is huge. Stormwind is a major city and port, teeming with life and business, not a hamlet that can be crossed in less than 2 minutes from one end to the other. Tanaris is an absolutely massive scorching desert in which countless people have lost their life. Falling into water in Northrend could probably cause you hypothermia, shock and eventually death. You will most likely get lost in the deep, unforgiving jungle of Feralas and the Barrens is truly a horde-controlled zone with danger at every step. Treat the world as it would be IC.

    - As your character progresses OOC, so will it progress within the guild IC. A character will rise in ranks if he or she proved themselves to be loyal, professional and capable IC, and high enough level OOC. We want you to main the character that you RP with. Having a level 1 character to RP casually is fine, but we strive to tell and play a story which will actively involve our characters in everything, from the secret plots of the Elwynn Witches, up to defeating powerful demon lords in the fiery Outland, or exploring the frozen mountain peaks of Northrend in search of forbidden magics.

    - IC and outside of official missions, everyone is an individual. Some hardened killers might enjoy picking up Peaceblooms. Some scholars of the arcane could be your best drinking buddy. Don't be shy and strike up conversations, get to know others IC. Missions are of utmost importance, but they are not everything the guild is about. We want to have an environment fit for in-depth, significant and involved RP of any kind. So maybe today we defeated a possessed general, and tomorrow we'll all have a drink in Booty Bay to celebrate our success.

    - Concerning DKs, we know everyone will want to roll a DK once they are launched. It's all fine, but you can not join the guild as an undead killing machine. So yes, DKs will be forbidden, at least at the beginning.

    > If there is anything in particular that you wish to know, please contact either Anderida or Fleet in game, or simply ask here in the thread. Someone will always be there to answer.

    > This is not required but if you wish, you can post a character information sheet here in this thread. As roleplayers, we are always glad to read new stories and character sheets, as well as find out more information that is perhaps hidden IC.

    >Episode 1: Breaking Confidence will start as soon as there are enough members, and in general, story episodes will play out when there are enough members online, and we will discuss it internally and set a date / time so everyone can be a part of. Until then, you can start fleshing out your character if you wish through RP with other members, or focus of leveling, getting armor, or simply getting to know more about what will the guild feature.

  2. People who's new to RP also welcome?

  3. People who's new to RP also welcome?
Of course! It doesn't matter how much RP experience you got. Just remember that this is a storyline based guild and because of that, you can't RP randomly for example being someone today, and another character tomorrow. Everything else will just fall into place and we do invite people to be spontaneous.

  4. Here you go, I've also made an avatar :D :

Good luck with the guild, I like the story of it so far.

  5. Looking forward to this. Already contacted Fleet Ingame.

  6. Hey guys. I'm quite eager to join this guild and would like to know when you guys might be online?
(I won't be able to play at around 5 to 11 PM realm time)
    Edited: October 29, 2015

  7. I'd say it's best to have some sort of RP channel for communication purposes for now as majority are un-guilded.

This is why I have formed the RP-OOC channel ingame.

    /join RP-OOC

  8. Alright, I'll see to it. Thanks, character name's Hatch btw.

  9. Hailing from a guild from Moon Guard with a similar theme as this guild, I'll definitely be coming around soon to you guys. But I want to establish some kind of fortification in this realm as I'm still new. I'll make sure to keep contact though.
