I'd really like to have a functioning call to arms to watch over the LFG channels and list the searching parties.
Sadly here on Lordaeron the LFG happens in the global channel which the addon doesn't scan and I can't code to change that.
Here's a working 3.3.0 link: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...nnel.html#info
To change the channel that you want to be scanned, follow these steps:
- Open CTALocalization.lua with a text editor (e.g. Notepad, Notepad++, etc)
- Go to line 419 or search for: "CTA_MONITOR_CHANNEL_NAME".
- Replace "LookingForGroup" with the chat that you want, I guess "global".
- Save it and test it.
I have been in the process of trying to fix/back-port one of the three addons for this type of scenario. I first worked with FindParty as it does work, but the Korean translation is only 70% recognizable on Google Translate. Instance and Raid names have been translated no problem, but other stuff doesn't make sense. Hard to translate when you don't know Korean

I will try this and verify if this works when I get home. Thank you!

That seems to work as far as I can tell to get the addon to listen to a different channel.
But now it doesn't automatically update the search results.
Oh and I notice the Who List popping up frequently while the addon is running.

Ye, the addon does some "who" searches to check the level+class of the player who sent the message. Some private servers have an internal cooldown (~5secs) on "who" searches (maybe to reduce server queries).
