There was no new announce about 5.48 the last 2 weeks , and if we look into Molten what we see ? ;)
I bet there will be a Devlog/Forum Post on Sunday night that something went wrong will the 5.4.8 update and they will bring it soon.

Cause he's from the states and probably doesn't know that for majority of the world week start's on Monday, not Sunday like in US. From his point of view this week is still "next week".
Anyways... yes... they are late as usual. I would be much more surprised if they actually managed to do something on time.
