It seems to me that talent taste for blood isnt working as it used to in retail wotlk on targets affected by dmg absorbing shields

whenever a target absorbs rend tick you dont get a proc but you used to in wotlk

its pretty huge deal imo as it will lower warrior dmg by a huge ammount

Works as intended.

Works fine. Absorbed damage doesn't proc anything just like ret paladin's Judgement doesn't refund mana if absorbed or frost mage's Frostbolt doesn't apply Winter's Chill if absorbed.

Prove it, then open a bug report.

Taste of Blood has never (not when wotlk was live or on the 3.3.5 priv servers) procced from absorbed dmg. That's why you see warriors put up rend on multiple targets in arena to make sure they get the procc every cooldown.

I'm 100% sure of it ;)
