Hello Forum,
I've been playing World of Warcraft for many years (since TBC to be exact), and have always enjoyed being a part of the twink community. However, retail World of Warcraft has made it their mission to make twinking pretty much impossible now, and not very enjoyable. Therefore, I've been searching for a place where I can experience nostalgia from the good old days when twinking was rampant and great.
I know there are several topics on this subforum that might have answers to my questions, but some seem outdated so I'd rather post here to see any new views.
1) What server would you say has the highest twink community? I'm assuming it's Lordaren since it's the highest populated server.
2) What bracket has more consistent pops? I'm mostly interested in 19s, but I'd honestly do any twinking bracket.
3) Is there a side that needs more players? Or is it too little of a community to tell just yet? (As in, more horde or more ally?)
4) What are the specific guilds out there that are interested in helping twinks with gear, enchants, etc.?
I would love to start a twink as soon as possible, but I know that twinking is very costly so I'm leveling horde main right now.
Any insight would be very helpful.

Twinking has been lame on Live since Cata, imho.
From what I've heard so far, Lordaeron has bg pops, but a lot of it is non-twinks. If I had time I'd level a twink over there just to dink around when bored. Alas, I don't have that kind of time any more. I believe Ragnaros is going to be the place for 39 twinks who want to play other twinks. Then again I'm biased. Also, I can't speak for other brackets yet. (Actually, I'm a little bummed it's Rag and not Deathwing. Already got twinks in 4 brackets on DW).
So overall, if you want immediate action and have the time to level and gear up and don't mind the nontwinks, I'm sure Lordaeron is the place to be. But since Ragnaros is such a high-rate, there's nothing stopping you from building a toon in both places.

Thanks for your reply. I'm actually doing good leveling my main on Lordaren, and was actually able to do some battlegrounds with success in the 10-19 bracket. It was lots of fun! I just have a few more questions from some observations that I made while playing in this battleground.
5) Can you still lock your XP if you pay 10 gold?
6) If you can lock your xp, does that put you in a separate 10-19 bracket with only twinks? I remember this was added during Wotlk but I don't remember if it was late in the patches.
7) I noticed that there tends to be less horde. Is that usual? Or maybe is it because of the time of day I was playing?

I believe Lordaeron is the only server that has low level twink bgs currently popping. I play 29s and 39s there and games are active and competitive with twinks on both factions. We have been doing 2v2 arenas in both 29s and 39s on Lordaeron.
Some players have, or are creating, 39s on Rag in anticipation of bgs and arenas there as well.

Oh thanks! I think I'll create twinks on both Lordaren and Ragnaros then. I'll just finish leveling up my main on Lordaren first and then get to it. Thanks for your input.
