Cataclysm Fire Mage PvP in Warmane question

I wanna start playing on Neltharion Cata realm, and I want to play Fire Mage in PvP, but I heard in the past that Fire Mages were bugged here.
That they weren't doing the dps they are supposed to do.

Has that been fixed? Are Fire Mages now fine to play in PvP?

I've been playing Fire for about 2.5 Years here, there used to be an issue with Ignite against absorbs PW:S for example.
But apart from that, it was working fine :)
