    Arcane vs fire.

    Hey guys. I was wondering if you could give me an idea of which is better for starting out? From what I know, fire scales better with gear but which spec would be best for a freshly dinged lvl 80 mage for PvE?

    In entry levels of gear you simply lack the necessary crit to get enough mileage out of Fire. Go Arcane to start with, and then switch to TTW (Fire) at higher gear levels.
