WotLK Mind Control in PvP Bannable?

I've been informed by another player that i've been reported with evidence that i've been abusing mind control.

I figured it wasn't bannable because it wasn't 100% bugged and other players were using it. I've notice it only happened a couple times where another player couldn't move afterwards out of the many times it has been cast. I'll admit i used the spell a few times but not intending to glitch players. So my question is should I be expecting a ban for this?

Other spells like fears have also sent me through the ground but that didn't stop players from fearing.
