Items doesn't show up when I send through the mailbox to my other toon

As the title says I do not receive the items on the other toon when I send it. I have checked that the recieving name's toon is correct and that both toons are on the same server, but when I send a simple mail with nothing attached (only wrote something in the mail-title) AFTER I have sent the mails with items in it, the simple mail arrives instantly but I have yet to recieve the others. What to do?

If the character is on the same account the mail will be instant, if not there will be a delay, all from 30 mins to 2 hours.

Okay good to know :) But how does the last mail that got sent become the first mail to be received? Does the delay have anything to do with number of items attached or is it just random?
