I've recently came back to MOP after a long break.
Throughout the past 3 days, I've seen people, namely hunters, with a Horridon Pet !
Being a hunter myself I was wondering where could one get it from?

This website states a Direhorn (http://wow.gamepedia.com/Defiant_Direhorn) that is a model of the Mid-Boss.
Anyone would confirm me:
1) Wether or not it's possible to get this pet
2) If yes to 1), where?
I've been to Isle of Thunder and Giants,
The first isle has no available monsters (not such monsters at least), the second one has no Direhorn with that model

That's nothing alike Horridon, aside from the blue skin.
And I know Wowhead has clearer info. But I needed the clear pictures.

I have the normal blue one, I've never seen people with Horridon. Ask Adele in the hunter's section of the forum, if anybody knows he should, but to be honest, direhorn pet is completely useless.

this one http://www.wowhead.com/npc=69277/defiant-direhorn i seen a hunter with it in Ogrimar, he porbably tamed it before the removal of npcs in Isle of thunder

Can confirm this, i have it on my hunter (Turtles / ex- Avenge) http://www.wowhead.com/npc=69277/defiant-direhorn , tamed it before they fixed / removed Isle of Thunder. IIRC it had a 30 minute respawn.

So it used to be possible to have access to IOT monsters.
Any idea why they were removed? (I don't see any problem by having the monsters, and no quests available)
