Pandaria Cannot Transfer Guild Master

Hi,

I seem to have a problem transferring guild master to another candidate after the patch update,
When I tried to promote guild, it says that the player is not in the guild.
Tried it to any other players in the guild, it shows the same message.

Please help.

What happens when you remove them and add them back to the guild and then try to grant them permission.

i removed that candidate and added back, and tried to promote but it still gives the same error message.

I had the same problem.
Solved it by promoting to gm by using command /gleader rather than right-click name -> Promote to guildleader option.
At first the same msg popped up until i finally decided to /gquit my gm toon. Then the msg reminding me to promote someone using /gleader pop up. Then when i tried it worked. Writing this down here in case u wanted to know the exact steps i followed.
