Question(s) regarding current status of the server

Hello young masters, i didnt play for month(s) (quitted after i hit 70 at Burning Crusade) thus i want to ask if there are significants specific updates in this server since WotLK launched/in the future or did i miss anything? A short overview might be helpful

For example faster respawn rates due the high player amount(s), unique features (events, transmog etc), current max players list, are there now advantages for donators, is WoTLK fully updated already with all dungeons/raids, status of the marketplace etc.
