Are you sure they don't? They've never given to much exp win or lose. They only bg i knew that gave a lot and fast was AV and thats if you capped all and kill drek and galv.

I've noticed that I've been getting experience in WSG, although I'm not sure if that is from killing members of the oopsite faction or from capturing the flag or returning it...
