Old nicknames and name retrieval

Hello community,
as a player that was using molten services from time to time for over 3 years I actually run into few inconveniences. My curiosity is captivated by the idea of retrieving nicknames or names of my characters that were lost due to moltdown/hermes incident. Actually it's only one name I am interested, It's a name everyone in guild and general audience would identiffy e with- Jaman. It's nick I used as troll monk on second mop realm, wich I started playing at second week after launch, and was wondering if there is a way to retrieve it. Some person did create character after server launch with this nick, yet last time he logged was 11 months ago.
My question would be this:
Is there a way to retrieve a nickname from player who is not using his account for "X" period of time? Or is it against terms of service for staff to do so?

only way you can get the name is if they do an inactivity cleanup, and that's only if the character isn't premium.
