11:20 Icecrown is now online, character merges are still on-going, during this time new characters cannot be created.

08:30 Merge downtime has been extended by another 2.5 hours.

06:30 Character merges have begun, players can view the status once their characters have begun merging here.

Some ppl started playing 6 hours ago while we stare at the ****ing merge is starting bull**** , equallity , thanks.

I don't think lvl 80's had priority. They had the option to reserve name and reserve name accounts seemed to have been moved first, though really none of us have the actual data so this is just a guess. The fact that some people can't wait a day, let alone a few hours to play is disgusting. I feel bad for the staff here.

I don't think most people know how technology works. It takes time. Be patient. Not everything can be done instantly...
