carbonite triggering chat mute when near enemy players

whenever i get near some enemy factions players I get stuck in the spam filter and cant speak anymore

how do I tweak it? I dont see the addon trying to post a message but it still somehow triggers it. I disabled it once and no more chat mutes so I think it is the culprit.
