1. Huge props to Lordaeron devs

I'm consistently impressed with all the "blizz-like" proper scripting that happens. Almost all the quests I've run into have functioned correctly, the zones feel great, the escorts in dungeons work (save a few), this is just like the Wrath of the Lich King that I remember playing almost 8 years ago.

You've even managed to bring back the 3200 person queue that I remember from launch!

    Jokes aside, great job!

  2. Warmane is doing a great job indeed.

There's now only one thing that can ruin this party and that is blizzard and their lawyers...

They hate that the service they provide now isn't even close to what the game used to be :(. "You think you do but you don't"
    But we'll be fine.

  4. back there Molten had good "anti-Blizzard system"... sadly it came along with certain person, that we all hate now from the bottom of our hearts... ;)
seems like Warmane still have this "system" and not such persons around anymore.

I always compare it to a car.
you can buy newest one and have great time, but it isn't even comparable to a car from 80's - with 500k km behind only needs basic repairs to ride around the world.
    same goes with WotLK.

Somewhere i read the staff is thinking about options to financially maintain Lordaeron by making transmogrification available through the shop. And this would be great without breaking any immersion etc. I'd like to still have to farm for the wanted piece of gear but having to pay a fee for the transmogging service then.
This encourages a new trading market and gives something else rewarding to do.

Yeah, we've been considering it for all wotlk realms. We're also considering some new features for Lordaeron players. I'm not able to disclose info just yet, but it'll help empower players and add greater control over your overall economy without adding "p2w" stuff.

Although the Warmane Developers have done a good job, but lets not forget TrinityCore and Mangos for delivering an amazing emulator/source to work on, and all the people who joined in populating the database. and special thanks to Ralek for the algorithms.

Without Trinitycore Lordaeron won't be as it is today.

I disagree at the fullest. Transmogrification in my opinion is ONE of the reasons why WoW is going down hill.

Before Transmogrification you could tell a player has epic gear by looking at the character, however on Retail you cannot tell players if they're have good gear without inspecting.

I would not be to amused if transmogrification was added - This will ruin the 'blizzlike' feeling; after all, Warmane/Molten-WoW do have habitats of adding one thing after another? What else would you add after transmogrification?

    err, wut?!
so if I wear T10 cheast+pants+head + rest blue and greens **** you re ok with raiding with me?! cos "by looking at the character" you wont see more....

Yeah, we understand there are people who dislike transmogrification. Which is why, if we do it, it would be website based. Every person would have the option to enable/disable the feature on their account -- when it's disabled, you won't see transmogs at all. I'm one of those people with this opinion. I miss being able to see how geared someone is just by seeing their gear visual.

It's more of a pvp thing, and checking out people in sweet gear in cities.

  11. Great job indeed , I was just wondering if the bosses on Lordaeron will stay this way forever .

  12. What's wrong with the bosses? Naxx10 is overtuned considering it has only lvl200 epics, but rest is golden (a solid pug can clear whole naxx25). When ulduar hits, naxx will become even easier indirectly (crafted recipes, ulduar boss loot), so no point nerfing imo.

  13. Server so good I stopped playing it because I was getting too addicted

  14. Please don't ever do transmogrification!

  15. Well, while I can't donate anything for the life of me, I'd say good concept trying to please both sides. Perhaps one day I will have enough to keep my DK gear aesthetically 'right' (although right now, you'll probably have trouble to recognize me as player in places like Ebon Watch or Shadow Vault) and to keep my mage from looking like cultist/dark wizard

Sometimes I question the expansion's art directions. Robes look all black with only slight tint of color. And the Blue WotLK plate pauldrons man... how can a Gnome ever be comfortable wearing them?
