Error getting to my character.

I write down my account name and password, then it tells me my account needs to be converted to battle.net account.. never happened to me..

download the client again

What worked for me was deleting the cache and WTF folders in wow, take a back up of them if u feel like it.

When you start the game again, it will create the new folders, then go on to change the realmlist as indicated in this:
